    Loving the pitta bread idea....I buy french sticks when they are reduced.Sliced down middle they make lovely pizza slices.A drizzle of olive oil makes all the difference in the cooking

    I find tomatoe puree a little strong.I blend a tin of toms with garlic and basil.You only need it spread thinly.One tin does me about 3 average pizzas.Sometimes I add a spoon of puree to it

    I freeze my HM pizzas and they taste great.
    I make the dough in the BM then top with tomatoe puree herbs and then loads of toppings, my lot cant get enough of these!!
    Never will i buy shop-bought pizzas or take away ones again, Hm are the best!!

  • Hi if i am making a bbq chicken pizza i use bbq sauce the ones in the ketchup bottles,then add chicken, plus other toppings and everyone loves this pizza.

    Cheers for all the replies. Will try them out, esp the tin of tomatoes.

    I can't really get meat cheaply. Bf not as OS as me, and I have to rely on him taking me supermarket, which he refuses to do at 8pm at night!!

    There was a recipe on here previously a quick and easy one with no yeast - using self raising flour.... can't find it at the momement though!! :confused:

    nic82 for the base I use flour, good blob of oil of choice and water. Dead simple, everyone loves it and you can mix in herbs and garlic or whatever too.
