Glad your OH is ok greent that sounds awful, I really hope they catch the guy, I can completely understand why he would be shaken up and I'm really glad that the girl stopped. You're right about the phone, it is only stuff but we should all feel safe enough to be out and about, its a shame about a minority of individuals like this who think that this kind of behaviour is acceptable.

    Day 16

I really am not doing very good at this exercise malarky!

    NSDs:
    10/15
    Exercise: Cycled - 1/12
    10k steps - 5/22
    Food Budget: 74/100
    Extra Income: 79.84/150

Thankfully I am doing better on the money front than the exercise front, I can't believe I am already 2/3s of the way to my NSD goal. Food budget also looks quite healthy, won't need anything else until 23rd so if I can keep this at the same amount as this weeks shop then I will be left with around £5 for the last couple of days of the month. I also have just shy of £30 in my PA account which will give the extra income a nice boost.

  • Hope everyone Is okay :)

So, today I have worked from home - no temptation to buy bits and bobs when I'm at home!

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow - thought it was on Wednesday so I'll probably work from home in the morning and then head off into the office after. Hopefully it won't take too long - just a smear test (I'm overdue for one. I changed doctors and forgot about it. It's about a year late!) hopefully everything will okay though.

Today will be another NSD so I'll be at 6/15. It's very windy outside and a bit glum so I don't think I'll venture out now!!

Think I'll have a bubble bath tonight and relax instead. :)

    Day 16
    Managed another NSD - 12/20.
Brought lunch into work and walked 20 minutes.
Read my book on the bus and in the staff room.
Still need to try to spend time on social media. Am keeping off the saga games on my laptop.
    Using food etc already in.
    Grateful for:
Hearing the birds singing this morning.
    Achieving somethings in work today.
Catching up with programmes recorded this evening.

What an awful thing to happen to your OH greent. Thank goodness he's ok.

    NSD 4/15 today.

First day back at work after holiday today :( Survived - just!

Walked to and from work and went in work gym at lunchtime 18,484 steps done.

Trying to abstain from alcohol until Friday - need to detox after holiday excesses. Also trying hard to get back on the diet.

    That's Monday ticked off.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Today I am grateful for striding along, for a no-socks day as it was so warm, for laughter with the pupils, for a marvellous orange sky, for dd coming and meeting me off the bus (trying to practise giving her a little more independance), for dh getting tea ready, for the wind blowing all the dry leaves about, for getting on top of my marking (for now...), for dh scanning in my old photos of my niece so I was able to do something with them for her bday, for 85% chocolate - always!

Glad to hear that your OH isn't badly injured, greent. I guess the aches and pains will develop over the next few days. Stick him in a bath with epsom salts for a good soak.

    Creeps back shamefaced :o
Been busy and failed to check in :o
Household / shopping budget totally blown and not doing too well on the NSDs either :o
Anyway, I have been through all my receipts and updated my signature and spending diary.
And now my brother has left, so one less to feed!
OH and I both have colds atm, so I am envisaging more NSDs this week, but on the minus side I probably won't feel up to much in the way of exercise.
Extra money - sold some bits on ebay and check for surveys each day :)
Organise / cook from scratch, doing well on this, but then we rarely eat outside the home, unless we decide on a picnic! Made a huge beef casserole yesterday, ate some for dinner tonight and there is enough for at least 2 more meals for OH and I :)
Will try and check in more regularly in future, the month is flying by!
I am grateful that the weather, at least here, is not as bad as forecast.
Greent, what a horrible thing to happen to your OH. I hope he is ok and the police catch who is responsible :(

    Budget:
    Groceries: £30.56/£310
    Diesel: £85.94/£180
    Entertainment £0/£150
    Personal spends £3/£45
    Holiday spends £204.60/£500

We rearranged the meal plan yet again so another day without going shopping :money: I did need to get diesel as I was running on vapours, so not a NSD.
