NST October ORGANISE OCTOBER

Hello,
wind wasn't too bad last night up here.
No SFD today as I need milk, bread and ham for the kids. Car has a slow puncture but it'll be fine for another wee while or at least till OH is back.

Mothernerd, yes there is something about October that means decorating... Though this was all started in the summer:rotfl: the sound of football on the radio and grey skies usually accompanied decorating...no spider man hand prints here yet though:rotfl:
Organise: haven't started the paint on the walls. Feel like I need a bit of a rest. I seem to have gone back to bed today and haven't done any decorating since finishing the papering Saturday morning due to being on a quite intense course over the weekend.
-Regular: 169/200. Still not worried as have plenty in, have spent extra over the last couple of days as baby has decided it wants mexican food with lots of jalapeños... Either baby or because I'm fighting off a cold
-Get ready for winter: lots of bedding in....even though it is strangely warm still!
-Always be kind: think I have been covering this
NSD: today will be a nsd - 9/20.
Stoptober: I have been budget fiddling this morning. Reading about the homelessness increase has made me want to overpay mortgage/increase security.
Exercise: not today or much for the last few days. I am pooped!
Banned: stuck to no work food shopping...I haven't been at work since I last posted.
Extra Income: earned 35p on onepoll
missed 4 days of logging in so far this month.0 -
I am hoping that 5pounds on a m&s voucher and 2.50 in boots points might keep me out of the shops all week :T
I only have 30 pounds left in my budget until payday  but my bigger budgets are looking pretty healthy so I do have those to fall back on as a very last resort.
Hope everyone's Tuesday is going well!!0 -

Same here £30 in my account and some shrapnel in my purse to last till the 31st. We can do this!
I only need a few things for packed lunches and kids today. Small spends for Halloween (mot costumes will be HM and cheap treats from LIDL) and another top up shop next weekend.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
NSD 5/15
All food from stores yesterday and today. The kids are computing or watching tv and have no intention of leaving the house. They will be leaving the house tomorrow, but today that is not a battle I can be bothered to fight. It is their holiday too. Just because I am some nutter that wants to go walk in the park with them so they can keep whining about it being outside...... poor loves.:rotfl:Then they ask if we can get a second hand dog. Like they dont have to go outside:rotfl: No joined up thinking here today.
:rotfl::rotfl:
So I am reading and watching films and baking and laundrying frugally.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Day 17
Another NSD - 13/20
Took lunch into work and walked 20 minutes.
Read quite a bit of my book - on bus and staff room.
Used what was already in.
Had a brief conversation with my Mum about Christmas regarding food. Decided against getting something. Does not bother us.
Took me a long time to get home from work tonight.
Grateful for:
Being able to write my nieces' birthday card and go out again to post both my Mum's and my birthday cards for her after I came home from work. Will be collected tomorrow morning as missed last pickup.
Being able to read quite a bit of my book.
Being able to deal with minor household duties before leaving to go to work and when I returned home.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
Day 17
NSDs: 11/15
Exercise: Cycled - 2/12
10k steps - 6/22
Food Budget: 74/100
Extra Income: 79.84/150
Well today I got back on my bike and cycled to uni, also did 10k steps, I ache all over but I do feel better for pushing myself. Really doing good on the NSD front, tomorrow will be a NSD but will have at least 2/3 spend days over the weekend, I don't feel too bad about this though because after tomorrow I only need 3 more NSDs with 12/13 days left in the month. I definitely won't hit my exercise target, this is down to a mix of not going in to uni and just being quite lazy, this will improve next month.
Today I am grateful that DS is finally asleep, I think he was overtired because he has just been an abolute grump since we got home and now I have a headache, I can't decide between having a very early night or having a nice bath (which I could do tomorrow).Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0 -
Today I am grateful for heaps of dry leaves to kick through, for dd having a good day, for dh being less grumpy(though I've hardly seen him!), for my counsellor, for bumping in to a friend in aldee, for finding enough card to print off pictures of my niece for her bday, for a quick chat with my sister.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
