Neiled, the Halifax provided me with a list of charges and statements for 3 accounts and a credit card. This was all through phoning Customer Relations. No charge was paid.
  • Hi

I have been looking at the 'small print' on my statements and discovered that:
Aqua Credit card is issued by Halifax Plc
    and
Sky Card is brought to me by Barclaycard which is part of Barclays Bank.

Does this mean that I just use the Halifax and Barclays addresses listed when sending off for Data or are there specific ones for Aqua and Sky Card?

Really need to get these addresses if anybody can help as I want to get them sent off before my DMP begins!

    Thanks

    :o

tried this yesterday and they told me it would cost £5 at a local branch to recieve statements, lists were not available and the credit card would have to be done through that department!!

Are we still able to use MCOL or is it advised to file a claim through the county court
  • Hi

I am confused (doesnt take a lot for me though :rotfl: ) hoped someone may be able to help.

Earlier I posted that I am looking for the address to write to for Data to reclaim on my Aqua Credit Card, I said at the bottom of my card statements the small print reads

"Aqua is a trademark of SAV Credit Limited, which is used by Halifax plc under license. Aqua Credit Cards are issued by Halifax plc. Halifax plc. Registered office: Trinity Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 2RG, registered in England no. 2367076 Authorised and regulated by the FSA."

Well I happend to have an email overdue-payment reminder today from Aqua and at the bottom it reads

"aqua is a trademark of SAV Credit Limited, which is used by Bank of Scotland plc under licence. aqua credit cards are issued by Bank of Scotland plc. Registered in Scotland No. SC327000. Registered office: The Mound, Edinburgh EH1 1YZ. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority."

So now I am totally confused, is it a card connected to Halifax or Bank of Scotland? AND where do I write for my data to claim back charges and also PPI?

    Anybody any ideas?????

    Many
  • Hassle ! Hassle ! Hassle them all the way!.Don't worry you'll get your money back. Just stick to the template letters.Ignore everything they may say in their initial replies.Don't be tempted into a "slanging match".Stick to the format and timetables. After the third letter and the all important "without predjudice" letter you'll be on the road to success.Stick at it. Don't give up.Watch Martins video on this agian and again and again. He's SO good makes me smile and I'm richer for doing exactly as he says.Good Luck

I had a further reply from Egg saying that the FSA have stated that as I owe them money the £124 they owe me HAS to be paid to my credit card ... is this correct?
