My other two claims are not so clear-cut though and I would appreciate some advice on what to do next. Norwich and Peterborough/Halifax, who I am claiming the paltry sum of £84 from, are refusing to entertain it, sending me a letter claiming that it was in their terms and conditions, they have to pass the costs on to the customer (i.e. me) and because all of the charges to my account have been of the lesser £12 fee, they are 'unable to offer any refunds.' So, do I chase this up? If so, what do I do next? This is a result of the first letter to them I add.
Nat West on the other hand, who I am claiming £500 from, have put £120 back onto my card to cover the addition difference between the £12 and £20 fees I have paid. No mention of interest and no payment of it either. Now I didn't realise that it was put through with immediate effect, no questions asked. I had to tap into this money too, as I had to travel up to Norfolk to visit my mother in hospital, as she had just had a stroke. As far as Nat West are concerned the matter is closed, but there is still a lot of money in terms of difference. What do I do?
I would take it to the financial ombudsman now...fill out one of their forms or call them, thats the stage that i am at with my creditors/ex creditors. Egg didnt entertain the idea of me getting my £80 from them back, but the fact that it is a low sum is irrelevant, now im even more determined to get back that cash from them!! I've just had the same with Natwest. I asked for £733.85 (inc. interest) and i checked my account and they have credited me with £128. So i have written the 3rd letter and am sending it tomorrow. I find it ridiculous they just put the money in without even consulting us!!0 -

dont accept!! keep fighting!! send a letter back saying that you accept the offer as part payment WITHOUT PREJUDICE (very important that you write that) and that you will be going for the rest of your money with the financial ombudsman or the courtdebt free wannabe (or at least half my current debts!) by july 2015...very - 950.00

Hi,
I have successfully reclaimed all my bank charges and now I am working on my credit card charges.
I have used the first template to write to Barclaycard and they have credited my account with the 'difference' between what I have claimed and the charge set out by the OFT.
Does anybody have a template or wording that can be used to request the full amount of charges given that the OFT only made their decision in April 2006?
Many thank
