hi keith, I would get ur £49.95 back of Blue sky they are just trying to rip you off as much as the banks. It will only have cost them £10.00 for the credit card charges. Do it yourself it is really easy and takes no time at all to print off a couple of letters.

Good luck and if you need any help just ask, practically everyone on the forum has had some experience with re-claiming.
The cheeky !!!!!!!s are now saying i can't have a refund but they never told me i had to pay 25% of my money to them.
  • hi guys. just wondering if anyone can answer my queries above? all help greatfully received?

    Hi everyone,

I was looking through some old mail today and found a letter regarding my claim for my unfair credit card charges.

The letter is dated the 26th November 2008-

My claim was against Halifax and myclaimsexpert was dealing with the claim. The letter i found has stated that the Halifax was willing to pay £471.00 plus £411.36 interest as a goodwill gesture. So i phoned customer relations number on the letter and asked if them to send me an acceptance form as i couldn't find it.

Will i still get paid out??

    Thanks Barry
  • Hi I need some help please?

I posted on here a few weeks ago that I asked for £854 credit card charges back from HSBC, they eventually offered £1035 which I accepted. I thought they would clear the credit card debt and clear some of my overdraft charges which are mainly charges of £1022, but they have sent me the cheque. I had an arguement with the debt collectors before the cheque was sent because they sent a letter saying THIS IS CONFIRMATION THAT WE ARE GOING TO CALL YOU! this I took as a threat of them coming round! I said it was being refunded and this was harrassment, can I take this further? but I have the cheque now from HSBC? What to do?

Also, I was in areears on Barclaycard, HFO was dealing with debt, I paid regularly and was told only owe £220 now and I said I was going to write to barclaycard for refund of cc charges of £600 appx. So, I stopped HFO taking anymore money, now HFO say I owe £954 and I have admitted to the debt as have being paying for it! could someone please advise me?
  • Hi

I've been reading the success stories re. reclaiming credit card charges but only see peeps claiming any charges over £12.00 (like claiming the difference between £20 and £12).

Has anyone got back charges of £12 ?

    Thanks :)
    :D

    Successfully claimed so far:
    Co-op Credit card £75.00
    Cap One £200 for O/H
    Barclaycard: £108
    RBS: £290
    Cap One: £126
    HSBC: £338.50 for daughter.

Under UTCCR 1999 you can go back to 1st January 1995 as it would be up to a local court to decide whether limitations Act applies.
