Hi, I'm taking a guess here that the last statemnet was approx. 18 months ago to this address. Presumably when I send the 2 forms of ID I state on the letter I would like them to be sent out within 40 days from the date of my first letter asking for my SOA?
Thanks again0 -
Hi
I am new to all this and could do with some advice please?
I recently wrote to Egg to reclaim approx £130 in charges. I've got to the FOS stage as they have rejected both letters i have sent. I am just wondering if the FOS settle in my favour, will Egg credit the £130 to my credit card or send me a cheque for the money? The card was closed when Egg were taken over by Citibank but there is still an outstanding balance that left on the card that i pay off every month.
many thanks for any advice!0 -

Hi,
Not sure if anyone can help, have tried to use my credit card with MBNA today and it has declined. i know there is enough on the limit. When I rang them they said that a stop has been placed on my card and a letter has been sent yesterday explaining why (although they couldn't tell me on the phone!)
I have made all recent payments on time, and I think that the only reason that they have done this is due to me trying to claim back my bank charges totalling almost £400. Obviously I'm not sure of this until I see the letter, but has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what were there reasons?
I'm so mad!!!!Pay off as much as you can in 2011: £780/£8000Vouchers through surveys/shopandscan: £10/£250Ebay/Paypal target for 2011: £109/£10000 -
Hi,
I requested info from Lloyds TSB on 15/7/09, right on 40 days I received partial statements 2003-2004, I'd asked for previous 6 years. Phoned them and was told 7 working days, nothing arrived, phoned again and told 10 working days, nothing arrived. Phoned again and was told request had been rejected and would request again, phoned 1 week later and told they have 40 days to respond from most recent request not from original request of 15/7/09, is this true? Does sending partial info count as a response?
Please could someone help? My £10 cheque was cashed in August 2009.
Thankyou0 -

I doubt they will publicly admit that that is the reason as if they did ,it could be argued this was an unfiar penalty and therefore would empower you to make another complaint to the FOS.
Unfortunately, will just have to wait what the letter says Im afraid. Could just be of course that they want to make sure it is YOU that they are dealing with and not a fraud scam hence block on card.If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!!0 -
HI all, this is my first post and I am very confused. I checked my bank account today, and it appears as though Natwest has charged me unnecessarily.
Despite my credit card having been paid off in FULL since I have had it ( i have a student account) i still have a direct debit set up to pay off the minimum amount (which i forgot to change...but until now it hasnt caused a problem). However last month, my current account was at its limit, and i didnt realise that the direct debit still went through, but was unsuccessful. As a result, Natwest Creditcard have charged me a £10 return payment fee and another £10 for unpaid direct debit. Can this be reclaimed or am i resigned to unfairly pay twenty pounds of my very limited funds (i am a student)??? Please help me!!
Thanks xx0 -
