    Hi

Can anyone give me some advice on Sky Card, my partner has had a Sky Card for about 4 years, he received a letter a couple of months ago to say they are closing and transferring to Barclaycard and Sky card would be no more, he already has a Barclaycard so he just transferred the £300 that was on Sky over to it, and rang Sky and told them to close his account. He managed to get the amount wrong by £1, he forgot to pay the first month and they called him and told him they were charging him £12, he then stupidly forgot all about it again and they called him and charged him another £12, they are ringing him 4 or 5 times a day asking for £35 now!! Surely that should not be right for a mistake of £1

He told them he will pay at the end of the month and they still keep ringing him. He was charged late payment and over limit over the 4 years, so I am wondering can I put a claim in to get all charges back and the £35.00 removed?

Any advice would be great thanks

He needs to write to them and reclaim the charges. If they ring him tell them he will pay £1(and make sure he does do it.....I think you need be his nagging reminder ;) ).

Can i ask for charges back for two different account with Halifax.
I have a Halifax Visa card im waiting for statements and also have a HBOS Mastercard.

I asked for charges back before on the HBOS but never persued it after the fob off letter. This time im going to court if they say no but can i include both accounts on my initial 'asking for refund' letter and give them a break down of both account charges with a total amount.
Ie.. £500 from account number 1 and £200 from account number 2, therfore i request a total of £700.

    Thanks in advance!
Apologies I missed this one, yes you most certainly can reclaim from both cards.

Personal yes you can reclaim on a closed account. business account I dont know 100% but I presume its just the same.

If the credit card account is shut then claim all the charges and it is for the bank to prove that they do not hold the data.
Include as much information as possible(if you have the credit card number that will help or the month more or less in which it was closed).

    All,

Just a query, my father has 3 Credit cards that are currently being paid off by payplan, will he still be able to claim on these for missed payments etc ?

    Many Thanks
