I want you to read this before you go further because I believe that you can claim more ie from the beginning of the card until now.

Thanks for that - how does that work tho if I closed the card a few years ago? If I was to claim up until now, what would each charge be? I may have mis-understood this??!!

You claim every charge from the time your credit card account was opened until you or they closed it plus interest.

thats what Im doing, they owe me £590 and have offered me £60!! joke!!

I thought you meant that I could claim more interest up until today even tho the account was closed in 2004, or is that wishful thinking!!

I successfully claimed PPI from the A&L and they included 8% up until 30 september and that loan was completed in 2004!! an extra £300 on top of the PPI refunded, nice!

Also sent a letter to Bank of Scotland requesting list of charges on 8th July 2009 not heard anything from them where should i go with that because it is well over the 40days, didnt send a cheque as previous posts say that they dont charge for that even if they did they should have written telling me this like cap1 and barclaycard did . Any advise welcome

Did they say anything in their return letter ? Ultimately did you send your letter recorded delivery ? If not, I would resubmit again but send recorded delivery?

Post up again if you get a problem.

Hi there. They just said, 'thankyou for enquirying about the above account. Your account is under investigation and we will keep you informed of our progress.' Surely they can't say that? I am legally intitled to my statments and I even sent them a cheque which they sent back. I did send the letter recorded delivery so they did recieve it. Shall I wait untill the 40 days are up or shall I send them another letter requesting that I am entitled to the statments by law and that I want my charges back?
    Thanks
