Hi, I am trying to reclaim charges from a goldfish account that I had until 2006. I have sent a recorded delivery letter, but never got a response. Can anybody give me the correct address to write to as I realise Goldfish doesn't exist anymore.

    B.

The correct address for Goldfish is now

    Barclaycard
    Data Protection Team
    Dept LRC
    Northampton

    for the SAR and

    Barclaycard

    for the request for repayment
  • Hello There, do I still have to pay monthly CC charges, whilst I have started the process for reclaiming charges from my credit card company?

  • Hi Guys,

    Help required please!!!

Been getting £12 charges for late fees and overlimit fees. Sent letters off to RBS they informed me that basically the £12 charge is in line with the OFT guidelines and will not refund.

Is it time to threaten them with court action or is it true what RBS are saying?

Google OFT 842 and read section 1.14.
Do you think they are right(after reading that)?

    good evening.

I am looking for some advice please as to where to go next. I have sent clydesdale bank the first letter asking for charges, then the 2nd to ask for my money back.
Received an offer of £108 as full settlement. I was claiming £540. I wrote back to say thank you for your offer which I would accept as part payment but would be proceeding to claim the full amount.

They have since wrote back with the following letter

I am sorry the banks offer to resolve this matter was not acceptable to you. The bank however will not be making any further offers to you.

Finally as per our offer letter we advised that if you are unhappy with the way in which your complaint has been handled or the outcome, you could refer the complaint to the financial ombudsan service within six months from the date of this letter.

I am unsure of what to do next and would appreciate any help, or anyone elses dealing with the clydesdale would be helpful
    many thanks

2 options. either ignore their letter and send them again asking for full amount or court action will follow. or alternatively do as they say go to FOS. You have their final response letter so why not.

Only thing is though, FOS inundated at mo so you may have a wait.

If you confident enough start the MCOL procedure. Im sure Cyldsedale will settle quicker if they were to receive a summons from court. HA love it.
If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!! :D
