HI
I Started me Claim against MBNA abut 8 weeks ago, got a letter in June saying they would look into my complaint and get back to me by the 14th July, 14th came and no letter so sent my 3rd letter saying that I want all my money back (£933) within 14 days or I will take it further, I sent this on the 15th.
I got a letter today dated the 15th from MBNA with a cheque for £200 saying that this is all they will give me. I am pushing for the full amount as I sent a letter on the 15th and they sent me a letter on the same date should I see what reply I get from the letter I sent or should I bank this cheque and send thema letter saying I still want the rest of my cash.
Hope the above makes sense

I wouldn't bank the cheque because it could be seen as accepting their offer.0 -
Can someone tell me if it is possible to reclaim charges on credit cards over the last 6 years if you no longer have the cards, i.e. account paid off and subsequently closed?
Thanks0 -

On the next cheque you send write on the front of it to the side of where you write the payee's name. That is what I did with NatWest.

If Abbey pay it into your account then they will have to provide the details without you having to supply any further monies to them.0 -

Hi,
I have had my credit card for a couple of years but I've only ever been charged the recomended £12 for late payments and going over my limit. Am I still able to reclaim these charges? It totals around £300!!0 -
