PP - I am trying to think of something supportive to type but my mind keeps filling with naughty postie jokes about 'special deliveries, bulging sacks and grabbing ya knocker etc etc' - I'm no help at all am I? Thinking of you tho chicken:o At least while he's on strike he's not pushing your sis up against the doorbell - I hope!
Pooky et al - can ya all stop bragging about your succulent SC Brisket. I cooked a joint in the SC on Sunday and it was as tough as ol shoe leather. Even the cats had to work it around their mouths a bit! I also cooked an 'All Day Macaroni Cheese' in it yesterday which the MATHLETTS renamed 'Hot Vomit'. I'm gonna push it to the back of the cupboard behind the Kenwood, Breville, Soda Stream, Doughnut Maker, Fondu Set and forget it for a bit. LOL
:rotfl: :rotfl: hot vomit I like it!!!!0 -

Pink-winged wrote: »Nelski, the kitchen’s looking great….what are you going to do about the sink? That wine bottle looks lonely! You need to either go and get some more to keep it company or put the poor thing out of it's misery!
Pink
Thanks Pink and all - I think I may be sinkless for a while in the kitchenbut luckily he's just done the one in the utility so coffees are still possible (thought he did that one fast!!) As for the wine - well I would allow it to be joined by its friends and colleagues in boxes in the garage but I dont want those rascal fitters to get any ideas (well i do but not involving my wine!!) so instead I think I may take your advice Pink - its just plain cruel as it stands:rotfl:
[STRIKE]Bad[/STRIKE] good news is the cooker is back on (but I dont need to tell anyone I suppose;) )
Tired Mum - Im really sorry you are going through this. As everyone has and will say keep posting for lots of support
Shez - Carribean Chicken pattie sounds gorg have we demanded the recipe yet?

Hello All
I'm back from my break from work. Didn't do much. Car broke down - cam belt's gone. Found out there are problems with the flat and I've not been well. So all-in-all, things aren't great
Read a really inspiring book last week, and it's really made me think about whether it's really worth getting up at 4am just for work! Surely there's more to life?
Got some more Christmas presents sorted, and even got BIL birthday present for next April:T Got most presents wrapped, but still have the cards to write.
Well hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Do you mind if I have a moan................
Why is it just as we are going away OH decides that he has a bad back?????????????????? The man drives me crazy, he is never happy unless he has something wrong with him, I could spit..........he'll be sighing and moaning, generally making my life a misery for next next week until he decides that its better............GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I have had to go and get him some deep freeze and he is shovelling pills down his neck as if there is no tomorrow.
The trouble is that when he really has something wrong with him I will not take any notice........and then he really will be in the 's***
Sorry, but I needed that winge...........the sun has decided to shine and the rain seems to have shoved off for now..............I have been and paid money into the bank.....ended up paying out £11.00 in Wilko's for OH one way or another, so thats this month budget shot again...........oh well.........
I have done 3 loads of laundry and its all dry, just needs ironing, might do that a bit later after I have had a cuppa and a zizz................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Afternoon - how yucky is it out there!!!!!!
Tired mum - I think I'd be inclined to write down a list of everything troubling you and find some "child free" time to get it all out in the open with him - sometimes it's the only way to go. But in the mean time - feel free to moan as much as you like - we're all here to listen.
Math - Hot vomit? Nice!!! _pale_ You've been away from the kitchen for far to long - it's not the SC at fault it's you - you've forgotton what to do!
Scuzz - Sorry to hear it's all going a bit wrong - why not start looking around for a new job in a different field - sometimes just going for a few interviews makes you realise how good/bad your current poistion is.
Csarina - Count to 10 and watch where you rub the deepheat

Hiya,
Mrs_mix how do we get a photo of the cake with the big b**bs?
If we all clap and chant 'post post post post'- will you give in?
Hello everyone else, hugs at a germ-free distance to the sickly ones.
I did the kitchen clean bit from fly-lady (yes, I'm still revising) which is timely as the apple cheese (ta, PenPen) goes nuclear in the end stages and splats toffee-like amber globules of apply-ness all over your cooker and worktop...;)
Child development study is not nearly so interesting as loafing around on the forums. So my christmas hamper old-style challenge is going on apace!!:T
DH went to all the neighbours for jars for me, and so I think he is lots more on-board now with the OS saving thing.
Trying first ebay listing tonight! Bit nervous. Pair of pink shoes I wore once. Cross fingers for me!;)
Curry again tonight, but I think I'm going to have to tone it down on the lentil front, because (turn away now if squeamish) DH did a foot long (I swear! No word of a lie!) turd this morning and we had to pour boiling water on it to make it go away. Dear reader, I kid you not!!!:o
Come back now more refined OSers.
I'll go and do some revision now...:D

Hi,
Just a quick one from me, as Im about to clear the kitchen after dinner.
The brisket in the SC, was divine. It was just right. Even the kids have commented! I used the juices and made the gravy! Thanks Pooky!
Went to the crem after the school run, as it would have been my grandparents wedding anniversary today! Put some nice pink carnations down, (nanna liked pink). Girl in the shop (when buying the flowers) asked if I wanted a bag and the price taking off, I said they're going straight to the crem, so it doesnt matter about the bag, and Im sure no one will mind or see the price! Bless her!
Hoping all is well today!

Well went to Mums and got stuck in traffic for 2 hours (my day gets better n better) we went to Dads grave. Their were loads of yellow stickers just stuck on graves saying they were dangerous. Luckily Dads wasn’t one of them. Very random some of the graves looked fine, others did look like they were uneven. We took Ilo for a quick walk on the beach. It was nice to have Mum to talk sense into me about our situation. As mothers do!
Got home, checked my bank and my incapacity money hasn’t got in. Rang the dss who told me it had been stopped cos my sicknote had run out and they hadn’t got my new one. (i sent it last week)God life just gets better and better.
Right i am officially gonna stop whinging now and try and wait for things to pan out.
off to see whats for tea .something quick like omlette me thinks.
Hugs to anyone wanting one.
