Morning all.............((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) if you need one and happy birthday to the birthday people, and congrats on the PINK bump Heavenleigh......

A good night last night, finally surfaced at 9am....OH had left me to sleep on, a couple of loads to the laundry, one more to go, hate leaving dirty washing, there is enough to do when I get back with the sheets from the bed!!!

It is hissing down, not really fussed, the lottie needs water, it was very dry yesterday, we had to water the onions........hopefully it will dry up later, we need a quick trip to the bank charity shop, putting in, not buying, and Wilkinsons, they have a cream called deep freeze which OH uses on his back when it twinges, we gave what we had to my friend the other day and guess what????? yes his back is misbehaving.........

Have packed the bag for tomorrow, just need to go through the menu and sort out what we need to take from the fridge/freezer......I have a cauli and a cabbage from the lottie, will have to get a few carrots from the market, thats not a problem.......and I brought spuds from the lottie.....

OH is checking his bowls trohpies which are all stacked in my cupboard in the hall, D*** things they will all want cleaning as well when they have been engraved, I will be charging the club for polish at this rate.......

Right off to check my laundry................see y'all later.....PS love the joke!!!

Dannahaz - I heard the woman's hour article. I've actually go the book they were talking about and it is beautiful. I love knitting, baking etc, but I sort of agree with "the other woman" (sorry I can't remember her name , Kate someone) in that my life is nothing like this lovely book. Us knitters are coming out of the woodwork (not to say that we are weevils :-)) and I'm glad to see it.

I heard it as well and would quite like this book I think. i thought they were a bit harsh on the author but not as bad as that bloomin' jane garvey on WH yesterday who seemd to put her foot in it every time she opened her mouth .... anyway I digress the washing machine is on - yay - no more handwashing in the bath. The drum is huge - I brought a load down and then had to go up for more to fill it. I'm on a flexi day today with the option of going in this afternoon if it was delivered early but have decided to stay home and watch the drum go round and all the lovely clean stuff come out. It's a rental which I know is not cost effective but evrey time I got anywhere near having the money for a new one some horrid bill happened and as I am the kiss of death to washing machines it's probably just as well
well must go - Pigpen has us in the kitchen today on the flylady thread so I can combine that with loving the WM :D

oooh that domestic lady has a blog at http://yarnstorm.blogs.com/
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

This OS cooking lark requires a lot of pans :)

I just mixed my mincemeat up in the bread crock because I didn't have a pan or bowl big enough :p

Now I really *need* to do a Lakeland order.

I will post them as soon as i can.
Can i just add it isnt a really coffin in the loft it is one my dh made out out of cardboard and covered in black creped paper then lined the inside with red!! It took him days to make, the black lights we got from local electric store but they did have to order them in, we also got green normal bulds to put in the outside lights, the treat a treater think it is great! Add that to the hanging from a noose corpse (like a bonfire guy with scary paper mashy head) outside my front door and the kids think they have come to the adams family home!!

    Hello everyone.
Have no idea where this thread fits, and this is the first one started by me, knowlingly at least!
Pouring with rain here in East Sussex and a day off from the new job, which I like...working with plants. But a day to get things done, one being the reorganisation of the pantry. There is a lot of spaghetti in there, the kids love it, but we always end up cooking a bit too much. So have gone back to the way I used to do it. Keep it in clean dry plastic soft drink bottles. Feed it in, only take a few minutes, and then shake out one serving at a time. When the neck of the bottle is full that is typically enough for one person....Apologies if this is an old one and you all do it.
    Have a good day.

Hello I'm up in between sleeps and ferrying DS around between his preeschool sessions.
Nearly crashed the car on the way to get him, going downhill in the wet only about 20mph but braked a little too sharp on a steep hill and was suddenly skidding towards metal post EEK!
Have to take DS back now and then back to bed until 2.45 when I have to go and fetch him again.

Good day to you all though!
