My one year Welcome Home fix ends on 9th September, but haven't heard anything from them yet.

I've been looking around and it looks like Symbio will be the cheapest for me also. My annual consumption is about 7200kWh for the year, slightly up on last year as the solar hasn't been as good.

I currently owe Eversmart about £170 as a result of this.

    We shall see.

Just switching my daughter to Symbio. On 7000 kWh it is a couple of pounds a year cheaper than Welcome Home but on my 3100 kWh they are £10 more expensive.
  • I switched to Eversmart over a year ago; in that time I have not been provided with a single bill, I have not been asked to provide any meter readings, I have not been able to log in to my account online, being told that it was not available for me.

I decided to switch to another supplier last month and dealing with Eversmart has been the most obtuse and infuriating experience I have had with a supplier. They objected to my switch, have asked for meter readings several times, ignore me on live chat, ignore my emails, hang up on me over the phone (if you can get through at all), and then are completely unhelpful over the phone when you finally get through, sticking to their scripts doggedly rather than listening to what I am saying.

If you read this, please, do not switch to Eversmart!

Just had a look at Symbio - they do only electricity. I want dual fuel, preferably from just one supplier, to make things simple.

Glad I checked this thread again, my tariff is ending in a couple of weeks, I've also had no information from them to tell me this.

I did have a phone call from 0161 7680166 earlier today, from a lady with a foreign accent saying she is from eversmart and wanting me to tell her my latest meter readings, due to a computer system issue!
I wasn't at home so didn't tell her anything.
Logged on just now and my account shows fine, wonder if she was a scammer?

Anyway I'm on the lookout to move asap, does Symbio look half as bad as these? Is so I may as well give them a go :)

Is the Symbio 'Sunshine Saver Aug 19' the cheapest/best option to get the cheapest deal?

Well, it was last time I looked but at the rate they add new tariffs who knows :o
Switching seems to take just over 2 weeks - daughter applied 16/8 and will go live 2/9, I applied 25/8 and will switch on 11/9. It happens that 11th is my normal Eversmart billing date and I am running around £1 in debit at billing so no having to try and get credit back (because there won't be a live DD by then) ;)
NOTE: All Symbio fixed tariffs now have a £25 exit fee.

Has switched from Eversmart with a credit balance ? What were they like, did they refund in good time ?

And ........ how do you pay a debit balance to them, there seems no easy way apart from phoning and paying by card.

My "Welcome Home" deal ends soon. I heard nothing from Eversmart for a year until last week. Since then they have been phoning me asking for my meter readings, despite me already having submitted them online. They then want to talk about the direct debit. I think the meter reading bit is just a ruse to get you to talk about increasing your direct debit as they'll be moving you to a more expensive tariff.

I've started a switch. Their current tariff is not competitive for me. I expect I'll have fun and games with them. I owe them about £30 by my calculations.

Since switching in 2017 I have repeatedly reported that I cant log in e.g. to check statements, provide meter readings, etc. The response is 'sorry we know about the problem'. They have dismissed my complaint/ claim for compensation and have failed to provide details of their complaints policy. Dont bother to email them, send a 'proof of posting' letter.
I am in the process of switching from EverDull.

My account with Eversmart switched over to Symbio this morning and consequently I now cannot access my Eversmart account (it was OK yesterday).

It's not a problem for me as I download all my bills/statements when they are issued but I would strongly advise anyone who is changing suppliers to download any stuff they need prior to the switchover day as it wont be available afterwards.
