Just tried it and it doesn't work for me either.

Not a big problem at the moment as I downloaded and saved my latest bill last week as soon as it was issued.

Yesterday I had the usual not recognised red bar then it logged in but with some error text at the top of the screen. New bill (or any old bills for that matter) cannot be downloaded as they are corrupt / wrong format according to Acrobat. This morning account site times out and cannot be accessed at all, the main site is working though. Hopefully just taken down to fix but an under maintenance banner would be nice.

Does anyone know what Eversmart's variable electricity tariff is at the moment? The three quotes offered for new customers are all fixed for 12 or 18 months.

My Welcome Home tariff is due to end on the 20th August even though the 12 month supply won't be up until the beginning of September. T&Cs refer to moving to a variable tariff at the end of the existing contract but there are no links to such a tariff on their website.

Good old Google did provide me with this link:

    https://www.eversmartenergy.co.uk/assets/pdf/eversmart_tariffs.pdf

This document was produced on the afternoon of December 6th 2018 so not too old. The variable prices on this are the best going.

Perhaps it's not surprising they would rather keep current customers on their existing tariffs rather than these variable rates.

I certainly want to hang about for at least the full 12 months to get my £20 loyalty payment. Does anyone know if that comes credited automatically?

Regarding logging on difficulties I have sometimes found different browsers / operating systems have produced differing levels of success although currently I am unable to download any invoices but I can see my latest balance with Opera Neon on a Mac.

Can't get to log in page at all in FF. Can log in with IE, Chrome and Opera but can't download PDF statements. Can log in, view and download PDF statements in Edge, the saved file won't open in Acrobat but will print to PDF from the web page.

I use Chrome and it wont let me log in at the moment, I'm not faffing around with other browsers but wait until they sort themselves out.

I don't need to get back in until 6th August

CEC is showing SimplySmart as variable which is £108 more than my current.

Comparison sites do show variable tariffs, SimplySmart and also one called SmartSaver but they can't transfer you to them, you have to go to the Eversmart website where they are not listed.

Looks like things are slowly coming together. Portal works fine in Chrome, Opera, IE and Edge but can only get in via the old .co.uk site in FF - trying to access the portal just gets a time out.

So I've found myself to be in debt to Eversmart energy to the tune of £1000+. This is a complete surprise as we assumed that the cost we were given at the start of our contract was right and that the estimation they gave us, to lure us in, was correct.

They are now trying to recover £1000 which we simply can't afford. What seemed like a great opportunity to save money through the MSE club, has now turned into a big of a nightmare...

    Does anyone have any advice?
Has anyone had a similar experience?

I have actually found it better to phone them as an email can take at least a week for a reply. Make sure you have your meter readings to hand. With the phone they have a call back facility & i have found they often get back within the day. But if you are in the right with being overcharged & get no luck on the phone send a recorded letter with your proof of being overcharged & any problems that it has created like overdrafts & alike & threaten then with solicitors & the Ombudsman as it will cost them far more to deal with the problem via this route.
I personally wish i had never gone with them as they are totally incompetent & by far the worst company i have ever dealt with. Far worse than local authorities & the tax office.
