    I agree.

My deal ends on 20th August. Wondering where to go next. Presumably Eversmart are no longer ever so cheap?

Eversmart Energy have a new tariff named "She's Electric" but that is not considerably cheaper than the others on offer. We were lucky to take advantage of EverSmart Energy when we signed up to it

You could check out the "Just Up Wk23 Direct" tariff offered by Utility Point

check on a comparison site - but for me nothings anywhere near as cheap as my present Eversmart deal which ends in August. The next cheapest is OFTM which would cost another £100 (and I don't fancy them). Eversmart's cheapest tariff at the moment would increase my annual cost by about £140 which is similar one or two others (including Eon)
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

Has anyone ever actually received an end of term notification from Eversmart ? Has anyone run over the end of contract - what happened ? My daughter's ends on 21st August so day 42 is today and so far not a peep. Even the bill produced today has nothing on it.

There prices ain't bad, the are just bloody useless to deal with, & i mean totally useless. I had a smart meter fitted about 3-4 months ago & they haven't taken one reading. So i sent the reading manually & they still have not corrected my bill.

I can put up with poor service if it saves me several hundred pounds a year.
I just keep on top of my own consumption and billing - it's those who can't be bothered that get into trouble.

    Correct! Totally agree!

My contract ended in May and is still on the Tariff I switched to (I`ve just had July`s bill and it has not changed). I chatted with them and their reply was:

"Your current tariff ended in May, but don't worry. We have been freezing the rates on tariffs temporarily until customers either renew their tariff or leave Eversmart. This is because we received huge demand for tariffs this time last year and we have been struggling to get around to everyone for renewals. "

So, I`m quite happy to stay on this good tarrif for now, but do hope I get some correspondence when it`s going to end! Not the best customer service, but usually get a reply. Should they, by Ofgem standards, contact me with new tariffs BEFORE they terminate the current one (already ended !)?

I do keep on the ball with my accounts, never had a smart meter and always provide a manual reading 1st of the month.

They are a typical no frill (haha no customer service!!) supplier. I accept getting in touch will be so difficult, but this is tempered by the cheap tariff. The nearest I could find was one called Orbit, which was a little dearer as my deal ends in September. In the past I have spent 30 minutes sat on the phone waiting for an answer but to be fair I did ring one Saturday morning and got through immediately, I nearly fell off my chair!

Might do the same as 'booveedoo' and stay on the tariff until they notify and terminate as its cheaper than others at present.

    Well that's interesting.

It suggests I shouldn't jump away from them too quickly. If they keep me on my cheap tariff until they 'get around to it', it could be months, going by their usual responsiveness.
  • Absolute incompetence ( or fraudulent ?)do NOT make the same mistake as I did , I left Eversmart in Jan 19 only to find 3 months later they where still taking the monthly payment from my account ( yes my new provider did everything to inform them of the change, I have emails confirming termination of my account etc , tried to speak , email, anything to these people to sort it , this is when you realise your mistake ! The customer service is ( to be kind ) , pathetic !! You will not be able to talk to these people or get any kind of correspondence , same girl who transfers you and terminates the call , I’ve tried for almost 7 months ! Finally my bank refunded me the payments ( not Eversmart ) an I got an email saying my closed account was in credit by £158.00 and would be paid into my account in 5 days ,” guess what ! No refund as yet , they will not speak to you or deal with the complaint , no calls returned ( about 15 or so ) , left a poor review on trust pilot only to be contacted by a member of Eversmart ( Haley ) who said she would like to help , replied with my details etc and STILL no contact whatsoever , don’t be fooled by the initial low cost ( it goes up considerably after12 months and then the real incompetence starts to show . I now have to seek legal advice to get this sorted . AVOID.
