And a missed call from them today :(

They phoned me once a few months ago. Told them did not want one as there was no phone coverage. Never called again?

IMHO it's best to ensure that you've downloaded and saved your bills and statements when they are produced (once a month) rather than waiting until the supplier has either

    a) gone bust or,
    b) mucked up or updated the website and lost the lot or,
    c) closed access to your account because you are leaving.

because it's then too late to recover it all and you don't know where you stand, especially if they've been less than efficient in handling your account or some debt collection agency springs up in the future claiming for unpaid energy.

Excellent - I wish more people would do the same then they wouldn't have some of the problems that they encounter.

For those who are having trouble logging in - this log-in page seems to work (it does for me and another forumite has confirmed it) so it's worth a try

Smart meter waste of time to be honest, had for a year now with neversmart and still each months bill is estimated! What's the point? (And about 100kwh out each time too)

It doesn't usually generate an invoice until invoice day, so you'd better check your billing dates (mine 6th of the month) to ensure that your reading gets included.

However put it in too early and they'll guess what you might use between then and the billing day (usually at a ridiculous rate of consumption - dunno how they work it out). Last month I put mine in one day early and they decided that I'd used 40kwh between 5th-6th April - total stupidity.

not sure of billing date? i just do readings at start of month and it did use to shown a invoice i did notice on some that as well as my reads it had also had estimates so i expect it was as you said about billing date. but now all my previous invoices have gone and it is now 1 invoice with 11 months on it so interested what it does now?
