its a saving of around £70 per year on my current Tonik povider,
wish me luck.
If you’ve made up your mind to opt for Eversmarts’ Welcome Home fixed tariff I wouldn’t hang about too long;...that tariff has been around for a while now and in that time many other Energy suppliers have increased their fixed tariffs markedly.
For example, Avro Energy are on the their 4th new tariff in the past few weeks alone,...each tariff pricier than the last, of course.0 -
Also just switched to the "Welcome home" tariff from Together for electricity only, welcome email arrived immediately, indicating that it is a fixed deal, however the Cheap Energy Club claim it is variable, whereas Uswitch say fixed.
I've been through two failed energy companies so far, let's see how this one goes.0 -

...and Ofgems favoured ‘whole of market’ comparison site, the Citizens Advice, lists Eversmarts WelcomeHome tariff twice;....one is variable, the other is fixed;
...what’s all that about then?
P.S. do you think you may be a jinx?0 -
Just spoke to Eversmart (waited 1 minute in queue). They are not offering a fixed tariff at the moment; only variable. My existing fixed tariff will roll over at the end of September onto the variable.
Had no issues during the last 11 months. Actually minimal contact. Service is as basic as it gets.0 -
About 8/10
I've been with Eversmart for about 10 months now and had no problems with the day-to-day running of my account. When I've forgotten to provide a meter reading, their estimates have been about right and there have been no issues when I've provided correct meter readings (both of these were major problems with First Utility, whom I've vowed never to return to).
The switch over wasn't brilliant - I couldn't get into my account to provide my initial meter readings, so there was a small amount of overpayment, buit nothing drastic. And they are very pushy, trying to get you to have a smart meter fitted; it's not so much a case of would you like an engineer to call, more when can he come. We've got solar panels and there have been some issues with these and smart meters.
All in all, if they're somewhere in the ballpark of being the cheapest supplier again, we'll be staying with them when our contract ends.0 -
Interesting that they're claiming not to offer a fixed price, their offer letter states:
Tariff Name Welcome Home
Tariff Type Electricity
Tariff ends on 29th August 2019
Price guaranteed until 29th August 2019
No mention anywhere about varying the price during the first year.0 -
I was with EverSmart for 14 weeks. Have now switched back to previous supplier. Would consider EverSmart again if they get their act together. Failed to install a smart meter despite repeated requests “no engineers in the area”. Failed to meet their email response times. Manager wouldn’t speak to me on the phone, asked to email him, joke, see previous comment.
I already have a Smart Meter but apparently it wasn’t compatible. Never told to submit monthly readings. Website is minimal.
Waiting on final account statement, won’t hold my breath. If I owe them, suspect I will hear promptly. If they owe me I doubt they will say so.0 -

...as an existing customer are you a bit miffed about that?
They’ve apparently been offering their ‘Welcome Home’ tariff as a 12-fixed deal for quite a while now.0 -

I did the comparison against my Northern Glory tariff, Welcome Home fixed tariff added £55 pa, varismart added £94 pa at current tariff rate. That's based on our annual usage of only £500 (split about equally between gas and electric). So think if they don't offer me Welcome Home tariff or similar, then I'll move on.0
