I cannot input my address for gas on their website. If I use postcodes for other areas of the UK as an experiment, I can input my address, Does anyone know if there are certain areas they do not supply to? I live in Mansfield, BTW. I have emailed them 3 times during this past week, and they don't answer.

Are you in an IGT area perhaps?

I had exactly the same problem with the address for my gas meter;...never had that problem on any other energy suppliers website when getting tariff quotes. See my post #221.

It’s guess it’s a problem with Eversmart’s database; ...I’ve been waiting for over a week for my sign-up email but Eversmart have obviously lost interest in me,...I’ve now lost interest in Eversmart.

I'm glad now that I decided not to switch to them after reading this thread.

They're probably overwhelmed and unable to cope with the influx of customers from Octopus/Iresa.

Well, I've signed up with Eversmart and have received my Welcome Pack. All the details appear to be correct, including the meter serial number.

They've also set up a Direct Debit for the agreed amount, due to start on 12th September.

My changeover from Iresa to Octopus has also been smooth and the amount I am shown in credit on the Octopus account is correct. I've not set up the DD with Octopus, as there should be sufficient credit to cover my usage before I leave.

Fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly on the 12th!

I've gone with Eversmart for leccy only. I signed up 2 days ago and my experience mirrors that of Mister G: welcome pack received in a few minutes, meter s/n correct, DD confirmed today, switch to take place on 13/9 (3 weeks). Obviously very early days yet, but so far they've done OK.
The only rather annoying thing is that it seems you can't create an online account until you have actually switched and need to submit meter readings.

Why is it annoying - there's not much point in setting up an account until they nedd a reading and especially not in the 14days cooling-off period.

I've signed up with them and my start date is 10th Sept, so far everything is looking good.

Personally speaking I was happy for them to take the dd in advance. Also I was more then £90 in credit with my former supplier so that easily covered the initial payment.
