How can we find out?

You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. error_eros said:Hello @Land_Registry , we completed a purchase of a property at the end of last September, title no. EGL271855. I haven't heard anything from HMLR since and it's been 4 months. So I wonder if everything is alright with our application to update the registry? Can you please check the status of the application for me? We also made an enquiry with the contact form on the HMLR website.
Thanks very much
BenThe average wait time for this type of application is around 4 months but your conveyancer can check/confirm matters online and it will be then who are notified of completion or any reason for delay
The 12+ months Slithery refers to is with regards a very different type of application. But the ‘nothing to worry about’ is correct here“Official Company Representative

Round and around - Can you help LR?
I've put a number of queries on here about a charge on my deed. This is the short version; bought my grandfathers house, with the process overseen by a solicitor with conveyancing documents signed and registered also with LR. Grandfather died in 2006 and I have struggled to get the charge removed ever since. He is annotated as the lender on the deed (with me as the 'owner'), where i have paid for the property (bank statements to prove, also with a letter from my grandfather confirming i have paid). Is this not a case of simply compiling the documents and sending to Land Registry to confirm this is the case? I have asked another solicitor to undertake this task, as i have had so many different interpretations of what i can and cannot do, at great expense to date. I am at the point of simply giving up, so any comment hugely appreciated.0 -
Hi
I’ve sent a direct message on here regarding an AP1 application with title number reference (hope that’s ok).
Just to ask for a glance to see if any information or dates I can be given regarding a response from yourselves I’d be grateful.0 -

In your case it reads as if you need probate for your grandfather and then his executor executes the discharge
That’s all very routine so why hasn’t probate been obtained to resolve matters?“Official Company Representative

Anon98 said:What sort of evidence might there be? The lease was a 99 year lease from 1964 which included other land, and then the title register states that there was a conveyance in 1984, and then a further conveyance again this year when it was put up for auction (I believe the tenants from 1984 may have died, not entirely sure who sold it at auction), the guy who bought it at just thought it was a freehold property and overlooked the noted lease, now that they are trying to sell (to me) they don't know how to determine it as the only thing they have is a copy of the lease and the information in the freehold title plan. I know it's not my responsibility to sort this it will be the seller and his solicitor, but it's so complex I'm trying to understand it as much as I can and assist in anyway possible.0
