Hello. I did write a post last night. But it seems to have disappeared.
it went along the lines of a difficult day made easier by kindness of friends recognising it was a difficult day.Lots of flowers.
leftover curry for tea.
not getting soaked on way home from mothers! If I’d left a few minutes later I would have done. Just got in before a downpour.16 -
Mhagster thinking of you.
1. Spoke with a friend on the phone. Good chat.
2. DS1 made it home eventually feeling ill and no sympathy given as self inflicted.
3. Kitchen looked clean and tidy when I left - not quite so much when I returned.
4. Went to watch rugby. We won a closely fought match. Had sun, rain, sleet and wind. There were a couple of rainbows before and during the match.
5. A friend and her father were at rugby. Lovely catching up with her. I hadn't seen her in almost a year. If I can't go to rugby I offer her my ticket so if she pays she likes where our season tickets are so will buy seats close.
6. Went to the theatre. It was ok. Last time there was a bomb scare so we evacuated before it started.13 -
Thinking of you today Mhags, hold tight to good memories x
For yesterday,
Bit of a lie-in, much needed after a rough night.
Eldest DSS cane round for breakfast and was sent home with a food parcel including new loaf of bread so quickly rustled up another dough.
Went to see beautiful grey one, walk around the fields followed by good groom, she is shedding hair like mad.
Home and baked the bread, worried that had over proved as had been in boiler cupboard for a long time, we will see at breakfast.
Was just thinking about a freezer dive for tea when beloved suggested takeaway as part of continuing birthday celebrations, oh ok if you insist, chicken in peanut sauce with pineapple & cashew rice, yum!
Tried to watch The Green Mile but kept failing asleep so bed it was.15 -
hello everyone
tried to catch up but so much has happened. Lainey, happy birthday hugs flying your way.
And my thoughts to you Suffolk Sue. Long may you find strength from all and know that there are caring hearts feeling for you. I know I have stated the obvious but sometimes just cannot find the words to match my feelings.
Lovely VJ, my brother (37 years old) has severe learning difficulties but is going through something like your son. His doctor's have not put him on medication though he sorely needs it........... mum and I trying to sort things out. I wish you well.
Blackbeard. Loved 'Housesitter'. They don't seem to make many lighthearted fun films anymore.
Spent time with my family and even had enough money to have Tiggy walked whilst I was away. Apparently she is as good as gold and loves the other dogs. The eye-vet has signed her off as eye is healing, just slowly. Pleasure and relief all in one.
Got off at Margate station and sat down outside 'cos hip was hurting. This seagull kept coming up to me. Now you are not supposed to feed them. But I went into cafe, dug out all my lose change (83p) and asked if I could buy a piece of bread. They gave me 3 slices and wouldn't take my money. I don't know what I looked like but clearly they thought I was homeless. tee-hee.........
Had to entice the seagull around the corner to feed it, I think it was a baby. Anyway, I broke the 'rules' but I don't care as it was a huge pleasure.
To one and all, have a lovely day

Thank you Bala and everyone for your kind thoughts
Thinking of you today, Mhags
Pleasures for yesterday
1. Good sleep
2. Shaping up the last chapter - starting to come together. I may have said that before.
3. OH cleaned the bathrooms and DS hoovered. I cleaned the bedroom, changed our bedding and did a load of washing. OH also did the shopping
4. Yummy sourdough toast with avo and bacon for lunch - very millennial for this pair of old Boomers (though I, I hasten to add, am only just a 'Boomer'. I prefer 'Generation Jones'
5. Out with friends. Was nice to catch up although one has lost a very worrying amount of weight.
Have a good evening all
I wanna be in the room where it happens13 -
Good evening all, pleasures for yesterday
No school so HT happy
Earlier than usual shift at work so earlier than usual finish - it was good to come home and not have to start prepping our evening meal straight away. Work was busy so time passed quickly
The cold that I am confidently expecting to go with the sore throat that started on Thursday did not arrive so I survived the work shift (drank plenty of liquids though).
Hot bath and pjs on - I was supposed to go to a class reunion from junior school but I cancelled due to the sore throat. I didn't want the first thing I did after not seeing them for 36 years to be give them all a virus......
Watched some youtube stuff with the HT (youtube not OS but bonding with child is) and did some more of project 4.

Coffee out at the garden centre with HWK.
DD1, James and the baby came too, baby on very good form and a total little Floozie with her smile to everyone who passed the table! bless her!
Nice drive through daffodil territory, so many more out this week and the sun was shining so it was 'all things bright and beautiful'!
Nice walk this afternoon and we got home for a cuppa and the rugby on the TV just as the clouds opened and we had a heavy shower.
Soup and dumplings for supper and then a crumble just because we can.

Hello. As always the anticipation and run up to a ‘big day’ are often worse than the actual day.
up very early as something made the dog bark which woke me. Had a nice long chat with DD1 as she sat at a beach and played her dads music. We went out to One of our local castles for lunch.
started a book.Fire on.
friend popped in with a thoughtful gift and card. And a chatter.
dont need tea as we had big lunch. It brightened up briefly so planted some Rtc plants that needed planting. Was freezing cold wind.Three years on and we are all still standing. Still missing and still loving .15 -

2) coffee with mum after and nice chat
3) home via mr L. am trying not to buy anything with plastic this Lent so vegetables purchased were a swede, an aubergine, a cauliflower and some loose carrots
