Will hold you all in my thoughts today DFV x
Thursday pleasures,
Busy day ahead so eggs on toast for breakfast which to set me up.
Over to see the beautiful grey one, gave her a good groom and tidied up her mane.
Driving into town of gown and listened to heart rending narrative of a small Dutch boy’s treatment under the Nazis, part of a series marking the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, I’m not ashamed to say it made me cry. Not a pleasure as such but worthy of remembrance.
On to the mundane and reason for visit was to have haircut, fancy a change and talked it through with lovely hairdresser, after so many years he knows my hair/ lifestyle well and agreed it would work.
Made a batch of winter slaw, added nuts and seeds for added boost.0 -

Lainey - I follow Auschwitz Museum on Twitter - everyday they post at least one picture with the story of the person. SO often they are children... If anyone does Twitter, please follow them, they are trying to find a million followers before the 27th (the anniversary).
Pleasures for yesterday
1. teaching happened. I'm struggling to get them to engage as they are preoccupied with other assignments right now
2. Good walks stationwise
3. Reasonable journey to ICT - got lots done
4. Found RTC salmon in the supermarket on arrival. Two bits for £1.25 so I had both....:)
5. Watched White Hall Farm (?) and Midwives.
Hope everyone has a good day...I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
DfV my thoughts are with you today. Sending love and strength to you and your family x0

DfV - felt some sort of slow metaphorical handholding way through yesterday's fog with you and a singular task. Today, up since 4 thinking of you all.
Have noted 1st day of every month for mhags, now for you both - and as she has perfectly written.
