    Pleasures today...

Woke up feeling good after a decent night's sleep (I was on night shift Monday and Tuesday nights, and had very little sleep yesterday morning)

Dog running around in the park with other dogs, doing what she loves best.

Seeing the spiders webs outlined with frost/dew on the grass.

Productive shopping trip, got some basic items of clothing to boost my wardrobe, also grocery shopping in Lidl - received free jar of coffee for spending over £20.

Ironing done and out of the way, bathroom blitzed ready for visitors tomorrow night.

Cooked up batch of turkey and rice dinners for dog (cats will also have a bit)

Got creative at dinner time - cooked sirloin steak and chucked various random things on a plate to make a salad. Sliced up steak and put it on top of salad. Nice. Lidl's macchiato ice cream for dessert.

Trying out my Yankee Candle votives, some lovely scents there.

  • Me too D for V, remember the love and the smiles and know he loved you all as much as as you love him. It won't change anything but might give your hearts reason to keep on beating xxx.
  • Another one here wishing DfV strengh for tomorrow.

1 Seeing our little fuzz at least comfortable.
2 My week old rtc orange roses are still going strong, I admit I’m surprised because as soon as I put them in last week they opened straight out but they are exactly the same.
3 Many packs of bulbs planted out all around, barley added to the pond, and tip load gathered together.
4 Breaded fish and veg for dinner.
5 Rather pleased that my exercise class is cancelled for tonight:o

    Pleasures for today (Thursday)

    1) Good to get up after just over 2 hours sleep.

    2) Hens OK.

    3) Got to the station with 1.5 minutes to spare! And that was only because the train was 1.5 minutes late.

    4) Went to Shrewsbury for a training course and it looks like more will come out of it, including some part time stuff at a second museum! Nice people on the course today.

    5) Popped in to see bigger son on the way home but only for 5 minutes as he was off to another training session.

    6) Did less than 15mph all up and down the Clee Hill as the fog was so awful.

    7) Got an Indian on the way home.

    8) Caught up with the jobs not done as I was out all day!

I hope tomorrow goes as smoothly as possible, DfV and I will be thinking of you.

    DforV thinking of your today.

    1. Work was good today - makes a difference who you work with.
    2. Glad I was in the bus reading while stuck in a traffic jam for about half an hour.
    3. Finished my menu plan makes me feel more in control.
    4. Lovely soup for tea and had made bread and butter pudding to use up the bread.
    5. DS1 being chatty.

I know we will all be holding DFV, himself and the boys closely in our thoughts and hearts, today especially but in all the days forward.

If you metaphorically need a wobble lean back on us and we’ll all be there to support you and hold you up.

There is no preparation for a day like today ( and nor should there be) but be surrounded by love from your family, your friends and colleagues and by the virtual love from us all on here. Your OSP family.
