  • Feeling a bit stressed as DH has managed to book us out 4 nights in a row.

1 Some serious deep cleaning going on, we have a collection on mugs. On high, which appear to have gathered a lot of cobwebs, so all removed, washed, etc, which lead to more deep cleaning, some windows cleaned and curtains through the wash.

2 At the moment 3 fuzzies are curled up in their new cat post.

3 More cleaning just to bring the house up and ready to Christmas decs.

4 DH has the decorations down, they are still in their boxes at the moment due to the sheer amount of deep cleaning I’ve been doing.

5 We had to go to a meeting tonight, I enjoyed seeing the festive lights on the journey over.

    Pleasures for today (Tuesday).

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Another day at work.

    3) Had to laugh at a very earnest Labour leaflet suggesting I vote for their candidate - not my constituency!

    4) Also had to laugh at the graffiti on a Conservative billboard on the way to work... Our MP is the one who made his secretary go to Soho for him to buy erm... supplies... so I'm surprised there hasn't been more graffiti.

    5) Chow mein for tea.

    6) Took smaller son and his friend to the football.

    7) Watched an epic episode of Holby.

    Tuesday pleasures,

A beautiful sunrise and the beech trees standing in stark silhouette against an apricot sky.

I picked up a bag of little less than perfect apples in the emporium the other day, they are small but oh so sweet, only problem is having to share with pony :D

Exchanging messages with bf and trying to work a meet up into the next couple of weeks.

Watched the wedding episode of Vicar of Dibley and still laughing despite the number of times seen.

Very tired so early night and fell asleep straight away.
  • For yesterday...

Lovely chat with my beloved neighbour. She is in her 80's and has been one of the loveliest of neighbours.

Another lovely chat with part of family across the road.

And yet another lovely chat with a lady that stopped to stroke Tiggy.

I am getting boring I know..............

A nice jaunt with my 'new to me' trolley. I bought it last week in a charity shop for 6 Pounds !
(I have a problem with my leg, hip and my feet). I know it ages me by about 20 years but I don't care. Shopping is so much easier.

    That's it folks

    Have a lovely day
AKA : Bala La Boo & Bala Baloo

    I HAVE A GOLD STAR and A MEDAL and a Title !
  • VJ Mother’s. Villain! Are yous my Outlaws?

Watched the Man City last nite on the ogle. Good that these games are for £80 a year instead of the TV Tax and Sky?

BoPsie has no sleeps left until our holidays! I have three and another trip to the veterinary with Raffles!

Last nite we has the home burgers for tea with proper cheese instead of the carp you get in the food fast joint. Real tasty. Raffles detected decent food again.

Was inn the gym keeping my beach ready body trimmed.

That is all for this lunch bite.
The day is not yet over, but your work is done!

    Hello
A drama filled day! Sigh! All car related . But resolved now.

Walk to work. About 200-300 rooks flew up and overhead .sky was filled wth them. Was most bizarre.

Distant sunrise as I walked and a beautiful sunset as I was mopping the floor at work .

Work. It was okay and day one of two is done . Kept busy especially over lunch when my phone kept pinging with messages from DD2 who was getting more and more frantic as I was getting more and more busy.

    Excellent tips!

Having chicken and a leftover baked potato for tea, rest will be chopped and into freezer for roasties.

Kindness of others today. Helped us with car situation.

Stove chap called so it’s going in next Wednesday.

    Pleasures today -

Seeing the sun rise - only because stupid dog went charging down through the living room door at 06:45 and then started barking because she couldn't get out again. Sunrise was pretty, though.

Quick walk with dog in pleasant weather.

Relaxing massage and facial this morning.

Singing my heart out as part of a choir of about 150 people this evening.

Home again, just in time to catch The Apprentice, which was enjoyed with two packets of cheese and onion crisps and two halves of bitter shandy, made with Black Sheep Ale, a very pleasant bottled beer I found in the supermarket.

A tabby and white kitten curled up next to me. Well, it will be a pleasure when the little sod stops biting me.

Have got out the habit of fasting a couple of times a week and the weight is creeping on, pleasure of getting through so many chores trying to keep my mind off how hungry I was!

A mug of bovril to help see me through.

Cooking our tea one-handed whilst chatting to SIL on phone,

Reading in bed and oh just one more chapter until book was finished.
