  • Ms Cottage. Pea Soup. That is not real food, AVOID!

Lunch Box disaster today. After carefully wrapping the three cakes of Jaffa, BoP has getten to the mill, opened his lunch box and has found out that BoPsie seems to have both wrapped cakes of jaffa in her lunch box instead. Cautionary tail. If BoPsie is decidedly greedy and does not return with my cakes of Jaffa later, tomorrow shes gets none! As BoPsie does read inn the parish, she will get the message!

Now on with other things happening in your version of the Life of BoP!

Fully court up with the challenge of uni last eve, so only this weaks to watch on Saturday night. Took a while. Then watched the rest of the met opera programme. Very good and BoP and BoPsie has bin there as well! Cocoa was drunk and proper digestives were chomped.

Raffles at last managed to gets on the window sill last night, he missed a few times! He has been fed! This morning over the bits of weet, he dived into BoPsie’s bowl as she spooned the last piece. He really has no table manners!

Well I am truly flushed this very day knowsingly that the Thomas Crapper can now be of such quality it is non-stick. No not about that, but about some classification of Stools inn Bristol. I would not check it out! Yes, it is inn Liedepedia. Sit on that if yous wants.

And that be it for todays Lunch Bites!

Don’t regret making decisions that upset other people, you’re not responsible for their happiness, you are only responsible for yours. That way, you can smile, and maybe, they will smile too?

Brrrrrr! Just put an extra jumper and thicker socks on to try and heat me up!

Crashed out very early last night , I was just so tired. Had a reasonable sleep.

Decorator arrived at 8am. I’ve tried to stay out the way. So now have clean bathrooms, sorted through Christmas decorations to pass on to the niecelys.

Drove to post office near where in-laws lived. The service is shocking! So bad it’s funny! Posted off DD1 Christmas gifts

Quick home and a walk with doggy.

Then back out to get eyebrows waxed and was saying to salon owner about post office ! She told me to google all the reviews! They’re hilarious! It’s not just me then!

Home. Hoovered upstairs ( trying to stay out decorators way) chat with DD1...who of all things was trying to work out how old her teddy bear was! (Fifteen on Thursday)

Filled a bag for charity .

Quick dog walk to letter box to post off DD1 Christmas card. It was perishingly cold.

Then down to get back massage of the ouch ouch kind.

Hoping he goes soon so I can be downstairs and cook dinner.

    Have a nice night:)

    4) Dropped some duvets found at parents' at my sister's as she will wash them then send them to the refugee charity.

    5) Took a few bags from my parents' to the charity shop but didn't find anything in there that I fancied.

    6) Went to see my school friend for a cup of tea.

    7) Picked bigger son up from work.

    8) Watched I'm a Celebrity.

    9) It is so cold I shall now go to bed with a hwb to watch Holby City.

  • 1 Up early to get our little heart problem ferret back to the vets, back now with another set of meds, and a hope and a prayer, he’s happy and enjoying life still, that’s what counts.
2 Some animal bits and bobs needed doing, this time 2 boxes of treats cut up, cages cleaned up.

3 Fish and veg as an early dinner as I went off to an exercise class tonight, I seriously wouldn’t have had I not pre-paid, the joy of waiting about half an hour for the car to de steam, the joy of older cars.
4 I tried on a joe browns top which was nowhere near what it should be, the pleasure being I re packaged it up free post back to them.
5 I’ve applied for a lot of odds and sods roles.

    Tuesday pleasures,

Cold and a hard frost all white & sparkly, the beauty of winter.

Breaking the ice on the birdbath, first time this year.

Ticking boring but necessary chores off of my list and then the pleasure of sitting down late afternoon to read Christmas Chronicles.

Fish Pie and broccoli for tea.

The little contented sigh from small dog as I wrap the blanket around her at bedtime.

    Evening all

No Jaffa's Bop? Not on. At all. Tell me you got them today?

    Tuesday pleasures

Lovely crispy hard frost. Crunched to the chickens at 7am.

Watching the chickens get very excited by warm fruity porridge!

Realised it was actually Very Cold to be out in my dressing gown. Scooted back to the house with freezing nethers, made tea and jumped back into bed with the heated blanket on. Bliss!

Plumber replaced the seized stopcock under the sink. I could feel the stress drain out of me as that was fixed.

Two hours of painting by numbers in the evening.

    Wednesday pleasures

Read my book for over an hour first thing with tea and cat snuggles.

Found 20 poached egg 'envelopes' in charity shop for £1. yay! Poached eggs on the menu (cannot do them normally to save my life)

Found a knitting magazine for £1 with some great patterns.

Had a nice big mugful of homemade broth at lunchtime. Mmmmm...tasty nutrients.

And for my final pleasure of the day, I'm going upstairs now for a steaming hot shower and scooting back into bed with my book. I will be reading until it is finished tonight, whatever the time!
