DfV Yous is rather resatrained there, I would had gone for the ...
Oh look, kiwis are out
Now that is sore ted, on with the bites from BoP!
Guess where BoP saw the rugby. At the AFVBC! Was a bit tense, no mince pies thrown, but snorkers, best back and bits eaten. Tea was drunk. And the kiwi well beaten! Got it &?
After that home to BoPsie! Last eve BoP got home, put the whites on, fed Raffles and wents to the gym. BoPsie came home and guess what. Fed Raffles! He's a giant snake!
PM2DD Was watching mes old team playing the blue of Dundee last evening. Don't get up that often. So missed LieStir! Mariners no plating today! Bit grumpy about that, but we are resting the legs.
Offs to get mes hair cut soon. Still has to pay full price!
Must get time set aside to build me 1:32 mozzie! Its weighting!
Now that is all for your quick fix from BoP
Haka! Really!0 -
1 DH and I needed proper footwear for the season after my boots tried to kill me a few days go, I managed to get 40 percent off for both lots.
2 As a gift DH has purchased an integrated little all singing all dancing radio unit for the kitchen, we just ordered it tonight.
3 It is a pleasure I’ve achieved more tidying, one bag CS stuff, one bag recycling, I’m just a bit tired of it! I still have dads paperwork to plough through. My DB’s house, if you step in you could put a for sale sign outside and it would sell, it is a show home, but it also shows nothing of them personally, ours isn’t a bad place but we have “stuff”, and animals.
4 Tea will be roasted duck with plum sauce and cucumber in those tiny wraps.
5 I’ve just purchased a block of exercise classes, starting on Tuesday, pre paying means I will go and I also get a discount.0 -
Pleasures for today (Saturday).
1) Being too high up to get flooded. Unlike many of the roads around. Flood defences being put up at top speed in several towns on the Severn. It rained all night and all day until about 6pm.
2) Hens OK.
3) Got various jobs done round the house.
4) Made Jamie Oliver's veg chilli for tea, then plum crumble, then had roasted chestnuts.
5) Braved the floods to pick bigger son up from work.
6) Watched a bit of Strictly and Casualty.
7) Let my brother's dog out (brother is away overnight) and he was well when we got there. He did go straight into the garden and wee over some vegetables that had been dug up, before I could stop him!!0 -
Big long day of work. As opposed to tomorrow which will be a big long day off work! Know which I prefer!
Cold & frosty and was running slightly behind time this morning so could have done without a windscreen to scrape.
Okay tips.

Hello Peeps!
Popping in for half term......Hope you are all well.
Yesterday
1. Didn't get much done, but sometimes you just need to stop :rotfl:
2. DH went to NEC for the Star Trek event, so had a little mooch in TKMAX ......un interrupted
3. Roast dinner for tea. (Found 2 reduced chickens in Lidl). Doggy has had the jelly and skin on her food. Lots of chicken leftover for later in the week. :j
4. Sold 3 things on the Bay.
5. Finished watching Travels with my Father. Jack Whitehall needs to do Travels with my Mother next. She seems good fun!
I have actually managed to have an extra hour in bed and it has stopped raining. A good start for Sunday :j
Have a lovely day.0 -
Saturday pleasures,
Bit of a lie-in followed by boiled egg and soldiers whilst watching the rugby.
Went to see beautiful grey one, she was absolutely filthy and looked more like a dark bay, oh well, gives me something to do I suppose!
Despite being a dismal, rainy day the autumn colours were burning bright.
Sorted out my books and now have a pile for the CS.
We all got soaked on last dog walk of the day but pleasure of coming back to a nice warm house & drying off, not everyone has that option.
Sweet potato and feta pie for tea then some games of Yahtzee.0 -
1. Rugby - enjoyed watching it. Did laugh with DS1 as he said he wouldn't take me to hospital if I burnt myself ironing until after the rugby.
2. Text conversation with a friend.
3. Journey good to watch rugby. Finished a book on the train.
4. Rugby wasn't great but we won. Stayed dry in our seats.
5. Watched strictly.0 -
Rugby on the TV and the first match of the season at Kingsholm, both were good and both had wins for the England and Gloucester teams woohoo!
Despite flooded roads on the way out we got in safely, slightly dodgier on the way back as the drain down meant the one long stretch of road still flooded was deeper but we managed to get through OK and back home safely.
This glorious dry and blue skied morning where standing in the sunshine was instantly and deliciously warming.
The windows that I've decorated for Halloween, such fun and we put the pumpkin lights up last night too, they look smashing, much fun for the kids and hopefully we'll get small people on Thursday night for some sweeties too!
Home made and mostly home grown soup for lunch, I love being able to make nice food with things we've grown ourselves.0 -
Whats yous wanted!
Feel something big, so this is how it stareted!
OK, but can yous spot the Iron Maiden Fan.
Not suitable for & as it is a tad curse!
Offs out for Sundae Dinner soon.
No footie DD, and we slip down again!
Watched the finale of the Railway models. Still the 1:32 Mozzie is in the bag. Not next weakened as I is on the three pronged fork at JAM! More details soon.
Off whippet site inn this weak. Detains soon!
Offs me self to the quack centre the morrow. Usual rules. Its will hurt the quack more than BoP. Jenny is charged up ready top give it one!
Now that is your Sunday Cake and Tea!
More than that!0 -
Hello. Just watching Strictly results after tidying up after our wee afternoon tea for Halloween.
Beautiful light morning. Then I remembered clocks had went back.
Wrote a list of to dos and they’re all done. Washing. Floors. Hoovered (downstairs) bathrooms cleaned. The most horrid job of unblocking a sink. But it’s done. And I did it myself.
Went to supermarket. Sigh. Again. But job done and DD2 put it away. (Whilst I unblocked her bathroom sink!)
Changed from being a scruffy houseworky person to a witch! But the baby didn’t like my hat so I had to take it off. Had a lovely afternoon/early evening with the niecelys and my friend and her daughter. Made lovely roasties with the leftover baked potatoes from work. Lovely sausages. Crusty bread. Coleslaw. The giant pumpkin went out in front porch. Much chatter and laughter...and that was just the baby! Lovely boy! A very nice afternoon.
Friend had brought some lovely flowers so have just popped them in a couple of vases.0
