Nice walk to and from.
Was going to cut the grass but had a snooze instead then it was raining.
Snuggled with the dog boy. Poor thing it’s hard seeing them unwell as they can’t tell you what is wrong.0 -
Pleasures for today (Sunday).
1) Met my sister, brother in law and niece at our local farm shop caf! for bigger son's 19th birthday breakfast.
2) Fed the hens and cleaned their sleeping quarters out as there is a tiny leak in the corner which has been no good over the past few days of monsoon.
3) Bigger son went climbing with my brother in law and his friend.
4) Made a chocolate birthday cake.
5) My school friend came round for lunch.
6) Enjoyed reading the birthday messages on son's FB page. The British ones read "Happy birthday, mate" and the Nepali ones are along the lines of "Wishing you the happiest blessings on your birthday, our friendship shall never dull and hoping for the greatest of achievements and goodness to smile on your this and every day"!
7) My parents then brother popped in.
8) HM chicken nuggets and potato wedges for tea.0 -
Happy birthday - a day late for bigger son of Frith.
1. Watching rugby - we all watched Wales v Australia together.
2. Went to a fairly local nursery for some shrubs for MIL house. We planted them too. Have been told the house won't be finished till at least December.
3. The next door neighbour came round for a chat and a cup of coffee and biscuits for us which was !such appreciated.
4. Met friends for lunch and heard all about their sons wedding. The photos were lovely. Also heard about her experience on Good Morning.
5. Finishing my book.0 -
Ha ha at the birthday wishes Frith
Sunday pleasures,
Bacon butties and coffee whilst watching the rugby.
Bid on and got a new without tags winter coat, my waterproof simply wasn’t warm enough last year and the prices of new wool coats are .
Clearing up the garden after the recent high winds, also cut back a honeysuckle that had encroached on car port and planted up some bulbs.
A chicken traybake for lunch, easy cooking.
Dodging heavy rain showers to get small dog out for her evening walk.0 -
About to go off on work jaunt so quick 5 for today albeit it rather early
1) have finally sorted my energy supplier - refund and reduction both being sorted
2) xoh and agreed separation agreement (i am still rather sad about it all - 32 years ago at this time i was excitedly putting the finishing touches on wedding preparation but glad it is now sorted without redress to courts and that we are still friends)
3) remembered to measure my usual hand luggage case. it is 5 cm too big! (saw someone being charged E50 last trip, fortunately i was going with a more generous transit, today i am on the stingy one!) my 'new' bag (£3 from a CS) is well within yay
4) email to council tax to query reduction - seems to me they have ignored my September payment
5) appointment made for friday to sign mortgage offer - pleased with myself for starting to get back on top of thingsMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Oh bovver. BoPsie has got spots all over her. No is not measles, she had the jab. I had measles aged 23! Floored. No, she has tons of them. I can tell you it is not a … Wes nose whats wrongs.
Well done big son of friths. He has reached BoP’s age at last!
Nows on abouts the BoPiness inn your day!
Down South today, may go whippet hunting later this weak. Details soon.
As I has said, inn mes lunch box this day! Strawbs, toms, raspberries, cucumber, peppers, onions, and a rocky! Oh and some smoked cheese of woods of apple. Good for yous!
Nows as yous knows BoP has bin doings his models lately, and has finished his typhoon. Now question is, he has his tiger moth that is crash landed as he cannot get the struts rite, the jaguar and the spitfire built. He has a 1:32 Mossie to build. But in his box he has another spitfire. Question does BoP do another spitfire first? Or go strait for the Mosquito?
On about that, cuddle Raffles as he is now knowns as has found a new cushion, or rather, taken over one of BoPsie’s cushions to nap on! Oh on abouts raffles, he was chasing the protective cover for BoP’s scalpel yesterday. It will hurt if he gets it! Please do not leave things like this lying around as they bee dangerous!
Off now inn case I pinch somebodies bottom!
It is rude not too?
Lie down, and take the world off your feet!0
