1 Tip run at last, very nice to be clear of it.
2 Dehydrating some bits and bobs for making our own marinade rather than shop bought.
3 I’m having one of those days where everything I touch goes horribly wrong, 2 examples, I set the grill “on fire” grilling a piece of fish, miffed I got on an hoovered the downstairs, then mopped the floor and the mop literally fell apart. Safe to say at least everything is a little cleaner than it was and we are ordering in tonight at the risk of the house!
4 A large load of pet bedding washed and dried in the tumble dryer to get hair off.
5 I think I’ll bank this for another day.
  • PK. Yous need a Jenny boosts. I won’t tell you which word I misread though.

Hello. It's turned chilly all of a sudden having been a pleasant enough day. I'd the patio doors opened and enjoyed the fresh air.

Been a productive day but just going to soothe achy bones and joints in a hot shower.

Moved big slabs off front grass. Cut both front and back grass. Looks better. Moved a very heavy Belfast sink from under front window into front porch. It wasn't draining and filling with water. So at least under porch it won't get water logged.

Popped out for some bedding plants and a couple of bags of compost. Filled and planted sink up and had a few things to go in tubs at back garden.

Lovely doggy walk with H and his old girl. Sun had came out at this point.

Intercepted the postie as I was going out and have another birthday card to add to my growing pile!

Took bags of sand over to friends dad. I have leftover sand from garden renovation.

Met a friend and had a good chat with her. Then had a good chat with neighbour across the road.

Made tiny lemony cupcakes and tiny meringues to go on top of them.

    1) did wake up once but didn't even need to read a chapter before drifting back to sleep
    2) another mad day of meetings - 1st needed to skim read 112 pages, got through most then finished rest in meeting and still managed to come up with good points yay
    3) then whizz down to city campus to day 1 of sparqs conference (student partnership) which came with an unexpected free lunch
    4) so got to next meeting (back at ninewells) a little late, not least cos I waited 20 minutes at the bus stop that time forgot
    5) then meeting with principal then meeting with phd student then home to do dogs and have supper then off to church and lent study and now home watching fleabag #2:2 excellent for extended lent study rofl (though the priest is in green not purple)

    ThanksBOP I need that,
I know how bad it is ,but having to say it and see it written makes it worse if that makes sense !
Only up twice during the night to help him ,so that can be the last pleasure .
My main aim today ,apart from feeding grandchildren and ballet runs ,is to sort out the pesky WI accounts .
Have decided I will relinquish the treasurers role at May's AGM .ijust can't cope with it at present ,need to be able to just go to the meetings when possible ,with no responsibilities .
    What a wimp !

    Wednesday pleasures,

Fast day so cracked on with cleaning bathrooms to take mind off :D

Lunchtime finally rolled round, feta with roasted veg.

Lunged equine girlie, she was constantly worrying over a corner of the school when we had seen a mangled pigeon earlier, come the end of session walked around to cool down and the bird had gone  my guess is a sneaky fox, no wonder my girlie was mithering.

Evening walk with small dog, she sent up a pheasant and was very pleased with herself.

Early night and started Tombland by CJSansom, award that may well be last one so reading as slow as possible :(
  • Nearly Ampersand’d this morning!

YestDay we did MUNI museum and ended up in nautical park. Still no sign of Ironside.

Had Fish and hips on the wharf of fishermen. Wobbleades were taken. Today back to nautical park and things.
