    For yesterday
1 Did a bit of everything, cleaned the whole ceiling and pleased, it means I can start painting next week.
2 Working with the new boy, he’s adorable but needs to learn some no biting manners, I think he’ll be fine it’s all a lot to take in and he’s spending most of his time eating.
3 Went out to the caravan, and got the bedding on and packed.
4 DH and I are sitting here we could go out and get fantastic food from the place that doesn’t deliver or we can stay in and order in okay food delivered to the door and paid online so we didn’t need to call in on a cash machine as well. We are lazy, and quite frankly people round here are driving like maniacs today so I’ll not add my car to the pot.

5 Watched a movie on Prime.

    For today
1 The new boy “humbug” is improving, his coat is better and little and often food wise has soon helped.
2 A lovely lay in and the Sunday traditional grilled bacon roll.
3 Stunning weather, I popped a struggling hoya out in the sun and pottered about weeding the garden and planting a few things.
4 Pork belly strips with rosemary roasting in the oven, smells lovely.
5 A call from my nephew.

Bit of a dating faux pas last night. Remember, poor DD hasn't dated since last century, so when a married chap she's met twice before added her to FB and asked her for a drink she thought it was to celebrate the Luton victory. DD was very naive! DD is less naive today. To quote Velvet Underground's The gift 'like an octopus, hands all over the place'.
    1) sent an email, subject line 'je suis une idiote' to gbf (still in the antipodes) when i got home. his reply made me laugh and cry at the same time. he'll be home soon
    2) hadn't written tomorrow's talk so didn't go to church - talk now written
    3) beans on toast for lunch. when one has been une idiote one needs comfort food
    4) mrpiano made a lish chicken stew. As i am of the 'sundays aren't included in lent' variety i enjoyed every mouthful (have given up meat for eco reasons).
    5) now listening to The Gift which i may not have listened to since i last intentionally dated. In 1983. It's not going to end well for poor Waldo!
