    Happy Birthday MHags.

1 Beautiful weather and being out in it.
2 We went out to say farewell to the fruit and veg stand and of course stock up for the foreseeable. They are glad to be packing up and retiring off very early, so a frugal one.
3 A beautful pair of trousers from a cs for £3 and a baby fleece for the ferrets £1.
4 Enjoying an early tea at the cafe.
5 Reading, keeping the brain cells working, just about.:p

Off to freshen up for the night. More later.

    Friday pleasures,

Two lots of washing dried outside.

Saw a butterfly, think it was a brimstone as very yellow.

Cleaned out and switched on water feature, before long birds were queuing up for a bath including a big old pigeon that sat it’s bum in and didn’t move for around 20 minutes!

Myself and two pals went to an afternoon tea held as fund raiser for the hospice that looked after DM so well, sorry Frith but cake and sandwiches were much enjoyed so not great for the BSD but boy were they good. Brought the cakes couldn’t manage home in box and Capt S shared the joy.

Moved furniture around as have new sofas being delivered today, at times it was like the chimp advert as old sofa refused to leave the house.
  • Date Nite last nite in Union Square. Food was wolfed down with wobbleades. Did boat round the bridge again, and the twisted street. Found something interesting at the nautical place.

Rags was a dog that was used on the ferries to keep the vermin down. He wandered on and off each ferry for many years of service. When he died, he was given a proper salts funeral in the bay. There I did not knows this.

Today is a Tour day. But on the muni not the hop along rip off bus. Did you knows the hop along bus does not do twisted street. AVOID.

    Hello. Bedtime.

A quieter day than yesterday .

Popped as far as T for a couple of things. Met a friend who'd just been at mine and had dropped off a gift for me next door then came home to find another gift left on porch.

Sun came out later but chilly.

Popped down to another friends with birthday cake.

Lasagne and salad for tea with birthday cake for pud.

Wrote a letter whilst listening to my birthday gift from 1986 on my new record player... Brothers in Arms LP... I'd written on the sleeve when I'd got it!!

Watched Casualty in darkness not sure if that counts for Earth Hour!

    Saturday pleasures

Had hurt my back due to helping Capt S move bits of furniture around ahead of a delivery first thing in the morning so the pleasure of painkillers.

It was a sunny, warm day so doors and windows open to air the house.

Went over to the yard and my friend lunged Lu for me, pleasure of seeing her working well but she did test my pal, naughty pony.

Had no lunch but enjoyed blue cheese burgers for tea.

    Candlelight for Earth Hour.
  • Last day. Just breakfast at StarveBrokes. Then quick whisk around. Then it’s the flight back to Blighty. Or sorry, BoP goes radio silence from later till two Monday afternoon.

    Photos coming soon.

Enjoy the travels back BOP and Bopsie.

Please excuse the non-pleasure, just writing to vent, I’ve had to back away from a family member I thought I got on with, but enough is enough now, when they seriously hurt both DH and I yesterday without thinking twice about it. They have no care for our feelings or us, they are so totally wrapped up in their own world that has never actually naturally included us! :( I have made so many excuses that I can’t anymore. It’s painful. Anyway, I feel just a bit better for just writing it.

1 Pleasures well it was a nice journey, I adore seeing spring buds and flowers.
2 We stopped for a takeaway on the way home to comfort fed our sorrows, it was fantastic as always.
3 Food planned from the freezer.
4 Animals so pleased to see us.

    For today,
1 Enjoying getting up an hour later…
2 Loved the usual grilled bacon butty.
3 I batch cooked up some mince, 2 lasagnes wrapped for the freezer,2 bowls of mince will be tonights with turmeric rice, and some lunches next week.
4 Zapped up some past it fruit into a smoothie.
5 Cleaned up our leather sofa it looks better than it was.
6 Gathering another charity bag together, 3 vases, a few books and tops so far.
