DD Congrats to Mr Piano, however ouchy to the dental pain.
1 Chorey type stuff, various washing loads, animal bedding drying, our clothes through the wm, and rugs and more animal stuff waiting their turn.
2 Refilled the bird feeders, and checked on a few things planted one is loving it here, one didn’t survive the rest look happy, feeling inspired to try some seeds indoors, famously never had them work,. Loving our weeping cherry tree as it is starting to bud.
3 We have been asked to give a talk on our animals, something we used to do a lot, but it coincides with when we are not around. But a pleasure to be asked.
4 Spent a long time hoovering and mopping, a pleasure it’s done.
5 I made an early dinner and DH commented on how good it was.0 -
Hello. A beautiful star filled sky. It's to be very chilly overnight . We started out pouring with rain but it turned into a beautiful afternoon.
Two loads washing out and almost dry.
Well, I walked all the way to the allotment ( 14 minutes and no lambs ) but I couldn't get the padlock to open. Rather frustrating. So then walked down into parkland at castle. Met a friends husband and walked through woods with him to head back home. Good catch up on all their news.
Popped into T on way home and got some bread and fruit.
DD2 had already eaten, I had crusty bread and some lovely ham leftover from birthday tea and made son an omelette when he got in.
Some lovely cuddles with my doggy today. He's been particularly snuggly today.0 -
Pleasures for today (Thursday).
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Took smaller son to school. Yet another day in isolation but he did a bit of coursework.
3) Hens OK.
4) Changed bed, lots of washing, hoovering and tidying. Cleaned the bathroom.
5) Bigger son came back from his garage job at 1pm and we went to the library to print out flyers and posters for his forthcoming coffee morning to raise money for his VSO trip. Also went to Boots for his vaccinations but they had no record of his appointment.
6) Made a roast dinner.
7) Date 2 with MrA. Plenty of bowling then table tennis!
8) In bed with 1hwb and will listen to the radio just now.0 -
Thursday pleasures,
Bacon and scrambled egg for brekkie.
Made a start on my OL History course but waiting on text book which has been dispatched.
Went out to fill the bird feeders and spotted some violets in the grass.
Wet and windy weather so had a rare afternoon at home, watched a film and snuggled with small dog.
Made a fish pie with celeriac mash, very tasty.0 -
Congratulations to MrPiano.
1. Good day at work despite the computer system. Worked with people I liked.
2. Always slightly later home on a Thursday and it was still light.
3. Went to pub with DH and DS1. Long chat regarding how D'S saving for a house deposit is going. Answer is slowly.
4. Chat with friends in the pub.
5. Flowers still looking good.0 -
LT Propers foods!
V I is back at the mill. No that is not a pleasure!

Had my hair cut this morning, she's done a really good job so I'm happy!
Bargains in the charity shop 6 x cork backed coasters 50p and a WI cook book for £1.
Reduced chicken strips in the Co-Op one for now and one for the freezer.
The gas board who have been digging up the roads all round to renew pipes have finished bar the odd bit of tarmac laying so life is now much quieter, thank goodness.
The smell of hyacinths in the close at the end of the road, right beside the footpath and they are filling the whole space, it's divine!0 -
Have just came to bed, as I'm tired and can't be bothered falling asleep on the sofa!
Been a very quiet day for me.
Beautiful sunrise as I did first dog walk.
Peanut butter on toast.
Started a library book...not feeling the love for it bit too fantastical for me but persevering.
Niece popped in.
Made lasagne and mashed potatoes for tea.
After a beautiful bright start its poured all day!0 -
Greetings from ICT - unusually I drove here as a friend is coming for a few days tomorrow and we're going out and about.
Pleasures for yesterday
1. Feeling quite a lot better - no lemsip required
2. Work continues apace, though still no structure identified
3. Leftovers for tea - no / little cooking (except I cooked sausages for DS, but... he's my boy!)
4. OH's grass is growing!!
5. Hmm, I think this one needs banking...
And today
1. OH has gone on his holiday :T it is a pleasure because all the prep was getting on my wick :rotfl:
2. Drove to ICT, enjoyed it, despite the rain
3. Called into the range and bought a new picture frame and a brazier / bbq thing for the yard in ICT
4. Brought my meals with me from the freezer at home, so it's been 'ping and go' for the food - albeit still homemade
5. Another banked - weather is too awful to go for a circuit and no one else is here this weekend.
Night nightI wanna be in the room where it happens0
