  • A lovely sunny, if cold, morning.

Trip to the city where I found the Grandpickles Easter presents very easily, both sets of parents have asked for minute amounts of chocolate and small presents so that's what I've got. The oldest boy has an action figure, the middle two have Ninjago Lego activity books and my Little Oreo has a fold out book of animals, sorted!

Just been to the garden centre for a nice coffee as we missed our usual Sunday one this week.

Giggly bus journey back from shopping this morning, made some new friends.

HWK has just lit the stove and the lounge is warming up, now that really IS a pleasure.

1 Pancake day as DH will not let me forget, that and Christmas day meal are the only things he “willingly” cooks!

2 More prep for starting on the ceiling, I’m ready to start soon, yippee I think?

3 Provided the final metre readings the final payment underway to the energy company.

4 Out at a meeting tonight, its at a horrible place for food, so eating a hm lasagne prior, DH being snarky.

5 Looking around at various roles tonight.

    Pleasures for today (Tuesday).

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Took smaller son to school and he did his first proper, full day for 3 weeks.

    3) Greasy spoon caf! breakfast.

    4) Met my brother and he went for his eye test. Then we did the charity shops together. He got jeans and a t shirt from Scope for £2! (BOGOF). I got a M and S green jumper (tags still on) and a purple hoodie for smaller son. A good haul.

    5) Popped to Sainsburys.

    6) Hens OK and 2 eggs.

    7) Tidied up and did a load of washing quickly so bigger son has something to wear to work tomorrow.

    8) Pancakes then bigger son made pittas from scratch which were a triumph.

    9) Went out with date number 3...

A post for the second day in a row.

    1. Washing dried on the line.

    2. A lift home from work. Talking to colleague and she feels similar to me as if something is going to implode or explode at work and we are waiting.

    3. DS2 cooked pancakes. I didn't need to stand and cook them and they were good.

    4. People understanding why I was running late most of the day at wotk.

    5. Enjoying my book.

    Tuesday pleasures,

The wind died down and we had a bright & sunny day.

Baked some low carb breakfast muffins and had two for lunch :D

Into Uni City for haircut, nice to be pampered for an hour and traffic wasn’t too bad.

Getting a free gift for something I needed to order anyway.

Read my book whilst Capt S watched the football, he made me jump when the only goal went in.
