    Art'noon all - bit chilly...
Lainey - a stoat!! How lovely

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. Racing along with work - editing / rewriting a chapter. Absolutely loving it.
    2. Yoga - Really enjoyed the session and it went well. Apart from a couple of balances; some days i'm rock solid, others i'm all over the place. Yesterday was somewhere in between.
    3. went to a different Aldi cos a road was closed, was really quiet and the fridge is stocked again
    4. Beetroot bomb for tea with salad. Yes, salad
    5. Watched Danny Dyer - had me :rotfl:

Have a good evening all - no snow here, i think it's going to miss us..
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    This might work.
    On verra.
There will be little order, temporal, merit, preference. At least that is sameoldsameold, &.

    1. G'dy, greeteth &, from Adelaide Central YH. Sorry it's only 18C dawning, cloudless blue blah blah.
    (Just to keep bop happy)
Free fresh-made pancakes is daily brekkie. Bought lemons from Coles yday, so even better today:-)

    2. Left -6C Fens for frozen wait for Gatwick North coach at Christ's Pieces. That was Monday. Took all journey to thaw.

    3. Kindness from Emirates check-in steward and lovely 3seat length to lie along, look at that slipping surly bonds of Earth, though not surly at height. Tis only the homo saps that do the surly wreckage thing. Just love ALL travel, always have.

4.... and then, when enforced dark imposed, the joy! (Burger some CRTs, apparently. What do they know. We who live, saw Queen live, will always know better)
Oh, the utter, absolute joy of Freddie and Bohemian Rhapsody. LOVED IT, completely, cried, laughed, but mostly sang, sang, sang, played every chord, hit every Deacon drum beat and moved, danced, swayed.
You weren't with me, so all embarrassaments are spared.
    PLANE REACHED DUBAI, UNDAMAGED, UNCRASHED.
    &does not know how.
Ready for it all over again. With any luck, on last leg to NZ. :-)

    4. Adelaide had/has various connections (other lives) for &. One, the reason for this 3-day pause, rendered nil, as a death+funeral 2 days' drive upstate, intervene. & was already en rte....

    5. Well, fancy that. A Vinnie's just across the road.... Didn't really pop in yday, spend a little (luggage weight &, luggage weight!). Deffo. won't mightn't mustn't maybe a little nahnahnotreally peep on way to free trams, free city connector busses and Glenelg+beach, then the northern hills, maybe back into the lovely state library and the botanic gardens.
    Loves anyone's, anywhere's botanic gardens, does &.

Days of snug and warmth and safety to you all.
Will post as and when I can.

    Pleasures for today (Thursday).

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Smaller son went to school - hoorah! Had to leave as I received an email congratulating him on getting only one sanction this week. Yes, that will be because he's only been in 4 hours of lessons!

    3) Hens well, cleaned their sleeping quarters out. Took warm water with me.

    4) No snow yet...

    5) Bigger son made French toast and berries. I made a casserole for tea.

    6) Stove man visited and agreed it is scrap. :-( He was patched it for now and was aghast at the rather Heath Robinson set up and will reappear to mend a few chimney faults.

    7) In bed with 2 hot water bottles and might watch Hospital now, though my brother has texted to say it will make me cry.

Hey & glad you had a good flight and will forgive warm weather even though Fens is still v cold.

    Thursday pleasures,

Met a friend for coffee and nattered away non stop for a couple of hours.

Also had the biggest cheese scone in the history of mankind which kept me going all day.

Worked equine girlie in roller and side reins for first time, she accepted them readily and was, on the whole, very good for her Mum.

Haven’t found a pair of gloves yet that you can wear and STILL do up buckles and straps so hands very cold by end of visit, had just about defrosted by time got home.

No tv and read instead but we did have the cricket on in the background and the warm weather in the Indies had me wishing hard for summer.

Hurrah it's Friday and I obviously dozed off before I posted my Thursday pleasures. It's a beautiful morning here. Snow still lying, sky is blue, birds have enjoyed the remains of some cookies we'd been given at Christmas but nobody really liked. I've done a quick walk earlier with Haggis and we will do our bigger walk shortly.

& safe travels. I had a lovely chat with DD1 for an hour or so this morning. 'Tis hot potatoes out there, she's badly sliced her toe so I awoke to a photo of it and a 'does this look bad?'

Yesterday I went on another course and it was very good. A really good speaker. And a few now familiar faces.

Nipped into town afterwards , met a friend and neighbour who's dad recently passed away. I'd popped a card in a couple of weeks ago but hadn't seen her so I'm glad I did and we had a nice chat, a few tears and many hugs.

Had parked surprisingly well in supermarket carpark bearing in mind it was an ice rink and covered in snow and I couldn't see any lines! Sun had melted most of the snow of the car roof.

A few RTC things. Veg and a huge gammon joint. Pizzas Oh and a chocolate cake! Found a very bashed but salvageable bunch of daffs in the trolley bay. Now on my dining room window!

Home and a lovely dog walk up what remains of our country road...soon to be street in a housing estate. It's a bit sad really. But the birds were still singing...over the noise of the diggers.

Niece and great niece came for tea. Had RTC pizza . GN played with Haggis in the garden till it was just too cold to be fun anymore.

Then I think I came upstairs and must have dozed off!

    Enjoy your day x
  • V Stuff the mill today, I is working from home! Millwright can jolly well thunder all he likes! Skyping and watching Big Bash as well! Shhhh does not tells Millwright!

4 Raffles is not impressed as his yard is white, BoPsie is at work!

3 Dropped BoPsie off inn town this morning! Then got some biscuit, well I am snowed in I have to prioritise!

2 Last nite went over the road for a steak, BoPsie had wine! Too much wine! Nice though and we did not get snowed inn!

    Not having none today!

And be carful in the snow
