Hope you feel better soon DD.
Saturday pleasures,
Up early and in Ely by 9am, bit of ninja shopping and out by 9.30, they were queuing for the car parks by then.
Bright and breezy day, nice to see some sunshine.
Met up with some pals for afternoon cuppa, we had our horses at same yard so lots of catching up on all things equine.
Out for evening meal with youngest DSS and his gf, lovely company, good food and much hilarity, he has exciting plans for when he finishes his degree.
Eldest DSS left a card & chocs to say thank you for letting him stay, inside the card were tickets to see the Strictly live show next year, very thoughtful.0 -
English Tea. Check.
Croissant. Eaten.
Now for Science Museum. Then some rebel’s meeting place. Maybe little Italy for supper.0 -
1) DD2's friend had booked a compartment (seats 8) on the Brechin santa express. Her car takes 7 but her car broke down yesterday (in the car wash!) meaning, if we could get ourselves there (we could), there was a spare space for me :T
2) we had a picnic on the train, then santa came round with presents for all
3) called in at Mr L on the way home and used my £5 voucher
4) put a stew in the slow cooker, took the boys for a glorious walk up balgay, then headed off for the uni carol service which was followed by mince pies and mulled wine
5) and now i'm home, advent candles lit, supper eaten, enzo #5 finished. DD1 home tomorrow for christmas :jMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

1 A very lazy Sunday which is a pleasure
2 The animals enjoying being with us playing daft and watching every move I make in the kitchen when not climbing up me.
3 Leftover Chinese was lunch, and as the oven had warmed I prepared the chickens to pop in, I’ve made massive stock up which I will box up when it’s finished and will form a casserole or soup, one chicken is for us the other plain one is for the animals, then I’ll use all the carcasses in the pressure cooker to make more stock and the bones will be disintegrated into animal soup so nothing will go to waste and the house smells wonderful.
4 Watching the Grinch.
5 Glitter, DH has made ferret cut outs from wood, so we are decorating with copious amounts of glitter and putting the names of past and present each one in memory, it’s very therapeutic and messy.
6 I’ve just food planned for the week.0 -
Inn Crossing of Legal. Wobbleade purchased. Night is young.0

Pleasures for today (Sunday).
1) A lie in.
2) Got everything out from under the stairs and bigger son fitted the new skirting board. Hoovered then put everything back again!
3) Hens OK and 3 eggs.
4) Made a different recipe of fajitas for tea.
5) Enjoyed the last episode of I'm a Celebrity.0 -
Busy day.
1. Most of Christmas decorations up. I never to finish off but as DH painted kitchen ceiling everything on the side in kitchen was moved. So didn't finish where all the stuff was.
2. DH cleared the gutters. He then cleaned the windows.
3. Lunch out with friends. A lovely meal and good company.
4. Visited MIL, she slept, DS1 came too. She doesn't have much longer. She is being fairly well cared for where she is and decisions made have been right but not made in the correct way.
5. Watched Strictly and I'm a celebrity.0 -
Good Afternoon,
Decided not to venture to work again today. Still poorly. This is a nasty virus.
Yesterday
1. Croissants with bacon and cheese for breakfast.
2. DH on a mission to dust.
3. Cristmas Craft Afternoon with crafting friends, at friends house. Made wreaths and willow stars. Had medicinal HM Baileys and a mince pie. Probably should not have gone, as still poorly, but it was lovely company.
4. Pork and cranberries in slow cooker.
5. Warm house and tv.
DS2 Now poorly. Need to get a note from the doctors  bet that will be a mission. Need to get food and do some washing. I thought being ill would be a rest :rotfl:
Have a lovely day0 -
You’re probably reading this at work. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
