1 A lovely weather day, we popped out to the local town CS’s and veg stall, we got so much veg we had to pop back to the car, it really is a great little stall.:)
2 Stopped at the caf! for dinner, always fab.
3 Stopped in at Pets at home looking for something specific and picked up a little plastic ball with a noise making mouse that it a big hit.:T
4 In to Mr T and I was so lucky I was too late for the reductions I noticed a usual group there that were all loaded up with bits and thought ah well will have a look around when I re checked the area they had stocked up again and there was a shelf of raw meats, whole chicken and diced chicken, turkey mince and casserole beef all between 45 and 65p. I snaffled them all very useful here portioned up and frozen now. The animals will have the chicken dehydrated to treats as well. Oh and some easy food in the freezer a binghams macaroni cheese, I am shocked that it was 7.50 to start with as I questioned it at 75p.
5 Nice to be in the warm with a cuppa, DH and the animals.:)0 -

Washing out. Was a bright sunny day.
Roll & slice for lunch. It's been a while.
Work. Did an extra hour & half. Loved it, though was perishingly cold.

Pleasures for today (Saturday).
1) A lie in.
2) Bigger son came home at 2am and told me all about the fancy dress party and the lady attention he had received! It does seem that there may now be a new "lady of choice"...
3) Hens OK and they enjoyed exploring the new shed.
4) Bigger son went to work then out to a party (still out). Smaller son and I went to watch the football. Various short chants are shouted out but 2 little boys in front of us made up their own epic chants like "Oooo, Po-or missss but better luck next tiii-ime" and just shouting "Off, off, off" when nothing had happened!
5) Watched a bit of television by the stove.
6) Made kedgeree for tea.
7) Meant to go out and watch the Leonids but it is too cold!0 -
Good Morning Peeps,
Saturday
1. Farm shop for hen accoutrements and B&Q for supplies for school. Did not find what I needed at B&Q, but found rtc compost, seeds and screws instead :j
2. Made flapjacks. Too much syrup and a few minutes too long in the oven has made them a bit hard on the teeth, but we will struggle through!
3. Did some school work. ( Not been working at home for about a week, as I was feeling overwhelmed). Felt I had achieved something.
4. Quick Trip to Mr T for milk, and got some rtc alcohol bargains :j
5. A Hairy Bikers Chicken traybake for tea.
6. Ghost Busters, woodburner, half price shops own version of Baileys, quilting and DH snoring. Saturday Night
Plumduff55 The Road to Terabithia is such a lovely film.

Feeling miserable today as I'm choked with the cold.
Only pleasure is knowing that as I'm retired I don't have to go to work tomorrow.
Hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow with my five pleasures xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

4) a big piece of homemade shortbread glaced with some marmelade
5) I finished a knitted jumper yesterday, it hungs on a hook in my bedroom and every time I pass it it makes me so happy that it turned out so lovely and I will be able to wear it tomorrow (thought it made no sense to wear it today when I don't leave the house...)Fashion on the Ration 2022: 5/66 coupons used: yarn for summer top 5 /
