lols @mhagster i got another provider to do a one switch then original provider sent me some garbage about me starting a new contract with them. so back into town to visit new provider who sent me to current provider who said new provider had clearly 'ballsed it up' back to new provider 'how could we? we can't set up a new contract with them' (which i heartily agreed with) i had an online chat with someone from current provider and took screen shots of the whole conversation which i then emailed to myself in case there's any shinanigans. and for today

    1. porridge with stewed apples from provost's very generous tree for breakfast
    2. last of the very nice celery, mushroom and stilton risotto for lunch
    3. nipped off from work at 2:55 for piano lesson, back by 3:55 yay for a good bus service and a bus pass
    4. Dr M on the bus home - always gives my day a lift
    5. doing an A-Z for the 2026 challenge thread - just watched Just William for J - excellent escapism

No news on the job front so escapism definitely needed!
