Hey PK good to see you posting.

    Thursday pleasures,

HM rye bread toasted for breakfast.

Big bag of herbal calmer delivered by our lovely post lady, she asked me what it was as smelt so good!

Lovely farrier did Lu’s feet, had a chat in the sunshine whilst she dozed, he had done 19 horses the day before .

Putting Lu back in paddock and my clever pony pickpocketed a carrot from the back of my shorts.

A stem ginger and chocolate ice-cream, would have been rude not to as on special offer at local emporium.

Watched the latest Mortimer and Whitehouse fishing programme, very enjoyable even if it did bring on a bit of seasickness!
  • Friday comes! Dismay’d
    Enuff of that carp!

LW That will be the next stop then! Three from Warster and … be careful round here, they go around with hot pokers to people they don’t like!

WM House. That be near the building site and the wooden sheds!

Are yous sure it is a book you take to bed DD and not some boys! (oops too late that sounded rude!)

V Had the snorker dog roulette late last evening. It was hot. Talking of Hot, raffles was tad offs his food, so BoPsie rescued him! BoPsie is recovering.

4 Less than fifty days until BoP is on tour in DC and Apple of Big. Offs to see a beetle and other club singers as well! More later. Meanwhile BoP is appearing in Steels very soon. Details to follow:

3 Now I knows how you get ready in morning. BoP sits, shaves, and showers, feeds Raffles, sorts the packed lunch boxes, and feeds BoPsie. This morning we has the eggs poached on hot buttered toast, all supervised by Raffles!

2 Nite BoP is having reversion foods! More later. It is what you can when yous good!

Having one again and again. Nows as yers knows that BoP keeps on and on and on about not being ripped offs! Has you set your utility yet? Now BoP did not need the advice of some spotty moooooldoon financier about balancing pension and rips offs like that! I could had beens charged around 10% ofs me pot value just to balance my pots at the end of each year. Wells on Monday last me pots were about diverging at 1.2%. This very day they are diverging at 0.2%. Unfortunately the mill are keeping me on in the boiler room, so it is still growing!

Deja Moo. An experience you only get when you read bullshine!

I'll particularly miss the Weald and Dpwnland Open Air Museum over in Sussex and the Hillier Arboretum at Braishfield near Romsey both places dear to my heart.

Don't know where you'll be in Gloucester, obvs, but if northerer then the Avoncroft museum of buildings may be worth a visit? Hope it all goes smoothly

PK - well done on the offer. My hydrangeas are not coping with the weather :(

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. yoga - always fab.
    2. cleaned the bathrooms  they were rather shocking
    3. getting to grips with the data analysis (this will be an ongoing, incremental pleasure - hopefully)
    4. Out with family for DD's birthday - lovely meal. Very fishy for me - mussels followed by sea bass
    5. DS drove so I had a pink gin and a glass of white wine... not had much wine since my weird eye rash / histamine intolerance thing. but no rash today :T

    have a good afternoon all
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • Many thanks we're not actually in Gloucester we're a little way out and more country! I shall locate and visit the Museum of Buildings so many many thanks for that VJsMum and we've already found an arboretum at Batsford and the huge one at Westonbirt too. DD1 is going to take me to St.Fagans at Cardiff as well, so many treats woohoo!

Hello. it's been very heavy drizzle all day...I have a garden party tomorrow! Waaaah!

    More baking .
    More dog walks.
    More hairdos...coloured and goodbye grey.

Then more baking with GN she's staying overnight.

Just going to walk dog and see if I can pinch some buddleia from the road side. I'd asked my mum for some flowers from her garden ( flower filled) the girls went round and I was given 6 heads of hydrangea . Need slightly more ! I shall curtail her meringue consumption tomorrow !

Right, tomorrow is another day ! Shall have an early night,

Nice to be back and optimistic again.:)

1 We have run down on what we consider all of the vitals, so we popped to Costco as they also had a couple of offers and mixed it with Ikea ironically for a quality bed sheet and a box for stuff, had dinner at Costco two-fold, lovely and cheap tried to miss the traffic.
2 I have cleared a bit out, old shoes I boxed up a few years ago things I haven’t used in years so all off to a clothes box. More to be done but nice to be doing something about it. :o
3 Travelled to the vets to pick up the little one’s steroids for another month.
4 Cleaned and tidied a window sill everything off, then wall and window cleaned inside and out, things put back cleaned and DH’s “stuff” put in a white ikea box I picked up.
5 Food planning again, we’ve lost weight but we want to lose more.
  • Way to go PurpleKitten :T

    1. Went dog walking. A neighbour had hurt her ankle so I offered to take her dog out. I enjoyed it and went on a different route than my normal walk to the bus. The dog had a longer walk than he has been having.

    2. Had a long chat with my sister.

    3. Spoke with DS1. He is still ok and is going to stay with a friend from uni this weekend.

    4. Cooked a ham in the slow cooker for tea and it was tasty and plenty left over.

    5. Rain. Not too much but the first we have had in weeks.
