For yesterday,
Few errands in horsey town, hood up as yet more rain!
Morning visit to see my girl, she was a tad cold in her stable so changed her fleece for a warmer rug and generally cosseted. We did some stretches and a walk up & down the barn to see her friends. Chat with fellow owner who was also at our previous yard.
Home, lunch for me and the dog. Watched an old ETTC while I was eating, set in Dorset and one of the houses was in the coastal village where we are holidaying in the summer.
Good catch up with Capt S who had been out all day.
Hugh Bonneville reading Sherlock Holmes to me in bed, found a whole back catalogue on Sounds.7 -
Is called 'Lurking inn the backyard!' Mhags!mhagster said:Coming in after a Pirate Pete post is almost like coming in after a DFV one 😆Is like the Buses! None for an age then ...
Just watching the Big Bash while working from home. Chloe needs her attention and is quite good at interrupting the Teams meets!
Please think of BoPsie, she still has note to ware for the up coming beech wedding in San Diego. I fear I shall be well watered on wobbleades inn the Man Cave this Saturday!
Still watching films on the stream services. Two many too choose from, but we run the Netflix one month, then the River, but Disney came with my personal bankers!
Must dash!

I work from home so my cat can be fed on demand!7 -
We have just changed to coverless duvets. They are lovely and just put the whole thing in to wash. No more wrangling. LolSuffolksue said:I love fresh bedding ,always makes up for the struggle of changing a king size duvet cover alone !

Hello…traitors has just started! I actually had a wee snooze this afternoon so I can hopefully stay awake…I usually fall asleep and catch up the next day 😄
Up early!Arranged to meet niece at garden centre first thing. Her turn to pay!And then doggy and I went over to CP and had the most lovely walk. It’s only a five minute drive from garden centre so that was a nice quick drive.
The sun was shining and the sky was blue, still cold but a nice wind rather than a harsh wind.Dropped off another Vinted parcel…was going through jumpers yesterday and popped something on and it sold in five minutes!Quick pop into supermarket and bought some daffodils.
And we were home. Kind of pottered around in the afternoon. I had bought some very pretty curtains on Vinted but when they arrived yesterday they had obviously been stuck in a loft or something…damp and musty smelling but still very pretty! So they went on a hot wash and I’ve just stood and ironed them whilst they were still a bit damp and hung them over doors and banister to dry off overnight. Smelling much nicer!Had hung out a washing this morning and it was about half dry when I brought it in.Raining now but forecast for dry again tomorrow ( last night was wild but was bright by the morning so hopefully the same again.)
Right…better concentrate on Traitors now!9 -
Congratulations BOP and Bopsie.
Looking up in time to see 2 woodpeckers enjoying the bird food.Taking my time over a job application to send on MondayA pasta bake and not a takeaway, as the car mot and tax is due next week, while the money won't cover it, it can go to a takeaway after it!Watching another Harlan Coben series, I may be slightly addicted now.Starting to think about the garden planning, and noticed I've actually used up all the seeds I have except for carrots, but it also means the whole greenhouse needs sorting.9 -
For yesterday,
We had a fairly dry morning so C dog and I could get out for a long walk, past the old Abbey and in the woods there are masses of snowdrops but so wet underfoot.
Gave my houseplants a bit of love, earmarked one for repotting.
The rain had come over but my other girl needed some exercise and fresh air after being in for a couple of days. All done and settled her in for the evening with a big hay net.
A pretty sunset.
Skies cleared and it was a chilly night so heading to bed with a HWB to listen to more Sherlock Holmes.

A big pleasure I’m noticing, DH is becoming very onboard for less processed / unprocessed foods where possible which is a big win, I’ve been doing a lot of research into milk and what goes into things over time.
Animal bedding all cleaned and relevant wash loads
Re filled all the feeders and water feeders.
A small snoozette.
Chicken bits for dinner, and various bits hoisted out of the freezer for tomorrow.
