Frith - hope you find a new job soon.
1. Read my book on the sofa.
2. DS2 and DIL2 came round for a chat and to collect logs from the garden.DH has been cutting down dead branches of the cobtrees which are ideal for a logburner. Good to see them.
3. Phoned my Mum for a chat.
4. Cauliflower cheese for tea to use up some of the cheese mountain we still have.
5. Persevered to the end of the Quins v Northampton game but it wasn't a pleasure other than we were winning for about 5 minutes!!6 -
For yesterday,
A cold, crispy start to the day and the first full moon of the year was sitting low on the horizon, fetched my crystals in from where they had been recharging.
We headed out to the farm shop for breakfast and paid a visit to the butchers counter.
Busy morning, stripped and changed the bed, changed & washed the towels, made a loaf and did a general tidy through. The birds are emptying the feeders almost as quick as I can fill them up, I broke the ice on the bird bath but within an hour it had refrozen.
Over to the yard, bitterly cold out in the paddocks but my girl was toasty in her rugs. Got her in and settled then helped my young friend with his ex-racer, a lovely gelding who is only 3 but had been discarded after breaking down. Friend has worked hard to get him over injury and next stage is bringing back into work so a few walks around the arena & then a quick sit on. All went well and my young pal had a huge grin on his face ☺️Easy tea of steak burgers then caught up with some quizzing before heading to bed. We listened to the first hour of the cricket and I messaged my DB who was in the SCG.5 -
A sneaky one for yesterday, the full moon with Jupiter so close to it, stops me in my tracks.
I cut up the ham we received, just wow, it’s extraordinary, we had a ham salad tonight, and portioned up and froze the rest. However, very good marketing with money off we will be ordering from them in future and doubt supermarket ham will never live up to it.
The loveliest local lady dropped off some newspapers for us, and it’s exactly what we needed for the ferrets.
We’re pondering not renewing any more with Costco, as they’ve gone downhill so badly, the pleasure being not giving them membership and instead finding a good butcher.
Watching Hamza Yassin, explore wildlife.

Hello from the land that is very chilly!
Up not so early! Then down to CP for a very crunchy grass walk! It was -5o but ever so beautiful. Ended up with an extra dog to come home with. DD2 had arrived at mine to drop off The Pup. But she forgot her key so they met me at the end of my walk. And as soon as I was home the log burner was on!A very nice bacon roll for lunch.2 bags of clothing in the boot of my car to go to charity bin.And have sat and read a book all afternoon. Dropped off a pile at supermarket this morning and then is from my got to the caravan

3) headed off to the library to get book for Friday's book club
4) called in at the Red Cross furniture shop en route and there was the absolute ideal glass cabinet (i've been looking for a while) - £30 delivery for up to 5 items so had another look round and found excellent replacement for the shoogly chest of drawers I've been using as a bedside cabinet
5) called in another CS to ask about lovely picture in the window as no price - 1/3 of what i had already decided would be my max.
and for today
1) delivery men arrived at 9 and they took away the chest of drawers and 2 pictures
