Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Fed bigger son's cats.
3) Not straightforward with getting smaller son's training. The company didn't read what we sent them and decided he had randomly applied for a non-existent apprenticeship so sent him an email of rejection. Called numerous times but the apprenticeship lady has tried now to contact them on our behalf.
4) Went to B and Q to see if they would cut some skirting board for me but they don't do that.
5) Went to Lidl.
6) Made banana and biscoff spread toasties.
7) Went to the pub with smaller son ! Can't believe he is suddenly agreeing to everything. We went to the pub attached to our football ground and watched the (away) match online.7 -

For yesterday,
Out to the village to get some fuel and cash, saw a friend and had a catch up.
Then looked at my watch and whoops was meant to be meeting another friend at the GC so hurried over, coffee in the cafe then a wander around, picked up three potted tulips.
At the yard, fetched my girlie so she could have a bit of hay before work. Put some poles out and off we went.We didn’t close the curtains and put on the lamps until gone 5.30.
Tea was salmon with stir-fry veg.
RIP Rick Buckler 😔 The Jam were part of the soundtrack to my teenage years. I was lucky enough to see them live and still have all of their singles, sad day.7 -

1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Went round the charity shops and bought a book.
3) Smaller son (who could never tolerate a cafe until this month) came to Morrisons cafe with me.
4) Spoke to the training man locally who recommended smaller son do another online course, pretty much equal to a GCSE in IT. It's 8 weeks online. We applied for that...
5) Made chicken tikka with plenty left for the freezer.6 -
