Hello.Rubbish sleep so was glad to get up.Scraped heavy frost off the car then off to skinny malinky club. Now 5lbs lighter than I was a fortnight ago.
Quick nip to vets to collect flea treatment and wormers that are included in monthly pet plan. Both chewable so the dog loves getting them!DD2 picked us both up and off we went ( via garden centre for a takeaway cheese scone) to the CP where they had a good run and we had a nice walk. It was blooming freezing!
Then home and I’d to get ready to go to work and meet a new family. Again a wee bit further away than normal but all good! Lovely people with two lovely doggies! Nice sunny drive home.Home and sat for about half an hour with my doggy then sat and wrote and wrote the draft service. Sent that off and just had lovely feedback. So I can relax a bit now! Did a bit of work prep for next week earlier too.
Sat and watched Casualty with a doggy on my knee.10 -
1 An unplanned sweep and mop up of the house.
2 Made come coconut flour low sugar chocolate and Brazil nut brownies for the weekend snacks.
3 Grocery delivery had the ferret’s lactose free requirements with our stuff, and a tickled pink driver who got to hold Bandit while I unloaded the groceries and remembered why I prefer Ocado over Mr T’s, but most of what we purchased was clubcard / otherwise known as normal prices bar a handful of things.
4 Pizza tonight
5 Starting to plan some days out and checking out for cheap camping options, which also meant paying for camping membership, as public campsites are now seriously taking the mickey. I started looking around wondering why I had decided on membership this year and it only took a couple of clicks to go ahh yes.

For yesterday,
A lazy start followed by boiled egg and marmite soldiers.
Made a loaf, changed the bed and washed the towels, miserable wet day so huzzah for the TD.
Over to see my equine pal, she was hock deep in mud and ready to come in. Cleaned her up and a bit of pole work done. Chatting with other owners and there are a lot of sad people but we all understand why the decision has been made.
Watched some footie and enjoyed a hot chocolate.

Morning all.
Dismal, damp and grey here again today but hopefully the rain will hold off until late afternoon. So sorry to hear about the yard, Lainey, I know you and your girl have been much happier there, doesn't seem that long since the move so a big shame but glad you have found somewhere new.
Some pleasures:
1) Sounds a bit crazy but I am SO proud of your lads, topsy and Frith, big achievements recently for both of them that a year ago would never have been achieveable. Great stuff!
2) I have had a stupidly sore finger for a week with a nail infection. I'm a total wuss but it's been ultra painful for such a small hurt and I've been forever knocking it. Today it's still very red but more itchy than hurty and definitely improving. Hurrah!
3) A trip to my brother's for hubby to complete a bit of work on SIL's car (which used to be mine so he's very familiar with it!). Had a good afternoon and made plans for, and booked, a weekend away with them in June. Just the four of us but our big family get-together for a week away is only about three weeks later anyway.
4) Roast beef dinner yesterday was delicious. Pre-Christmas better than half price beef had been tucked away in the freezer as had the cheap veg - carrot and swede, braised red cabbage and sprouts. Very MSE and plenty more left to make an easy tea tonight and a sort-of stroganoff tomorrow.
5) A day at home yesterday as it rained most of the day so today, the forecast being somewhat better though still grey, we are packing up walking boots, hats and scarves, and a picnic lunch and heading off for a long tramp in wide, open spaces to stretch our legs and blow away the cobwebs.
Hope you enjoy your Sunday, whatever you are up to.
