A day of not very much!Been cold so have had the heating on.
Much reclining. A bit of reading . A bit of watching.
A lot of doggy snuggles.
And that’s been about it!9 -
Lainey, congrats on your car.
1 I did the finances, and the lounge floor will have to wait to next year. So well-placed rugs for a while I think. A pleasure knowing there’s limits, as a car is also going to be need to be added in the mix.
2 I cooked up one of the Mr T half price pork joints, with stuffing, veg and roasties, aunt bessies I admit. The house smells lovely, and there’s a lot of meat left over.
3 More interview “Stuff”, it’s been a while so just building my confidence a bit, read paperwork, researched on discussing the gap in my working.
4 Perusing tonight, I also found a great local role, it says wage dep on exp, so with that in mind I’ve applied.
5 A few more pots emptied and away, and I cook a couple of cuttings of plants I’ve managed to keep going a few years I’m quite chuffed with.
6 Surprised by a delivery turning up this evening.

Pleasures for today (Sunday)
1) Not a bad sleep, if rather short.
2) Worked 8-12 with the nice lady so that went quickly.
3) Went to Waitrose after for a pot of tea.
4) Cleaned the bathroom.
5) Bigger son's girlfriend had left her mum's television in the garage so I sorted that out. The colour seems much more vibrant than the old one.
6) Smaller son and I watched I'm a Celebrity.
Ancient cat is ill again, not eating or drinking now. She is 19. She's on her favourite chair, lying on an old quilt.7 -
19 is a great age for a cat Frith
For yesterday,
After a 3am comfort break small dog was still snoozing in her bed at 7.30 so I got up and made the humans a cup of tea which we drunk in bed so a nice slow start to the day.
Breakfast, the Archers omnibus, then I had a long bath and finished my book.
Roast chicken dinner followed by warm brownie and cream.
Lazy afternoon, we watched last weeks Wolf Hall then the football. I do miss our afternoon walks but small dog can’t go far at all these days so just a mooch under the beech trees before the rain came over.
The skies cleared and it was a bbbrr but clear night so the moon shining brightly.7 -
3 days' osp reading caught up, so will try and post from Town of Horse, emporium next.
Yes Frith, 19 is a fantastic age for your cat,😽.

1. Repeat hwbs, being warm. Definitely osps.
2. Feeling better, another medical review tomorrow.
3. Single point loss for ABs was not disastrous at the end of a long season and constant displacement. Razor Robertson has already made vast improvements. Not sure Borthwick will keep his job for long.
4. Constant squirrel visits.
5. Agreeing with others, fantastic moon and Venus, I think, bright below.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Frith, your cat sounds comfy, x
1 As far as I’m concerned, it’s still too early for “festive” however foods have been creeping into the shop and today I found myself humming Christmas song!!! So, I guess the spirit is creeping in.
2 I’m glad I did the interview, it was good for the experience, I don’t think I got in on this occasion, but I’m glad I did it, I had a celebratory cuppa and mince pie, and then re assembled the office. Hey ho.
3 Our other poorly ferret Custard was back at the vets today, another 10 days antibiotics and a congestion powder and back next Monday, it’s unusual for it not to clear so we and the vet are concerned.
4 Pork and veggies leftover from yesterday's roast with chips, I think leftovers are some of my favourite meals.
5 More reading, nice to have a book I’m into.

Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) Good to get up after an appalling night where I kept waking up with a start, thinking I had heard a noise.
2) Opened the garage door expecting the cat to definitely no longer be with us - to see her staring back at me.
3) Went to the tip.
4) Took some stuff back to the place where I was going to volunteer (before I got a job). Everyone there was very jolly.
5) Went to our football club to get a stocking filler then to get a ticket so we can take my dad for his birthday. This was incredibly complicated as smaller son and I have season tickets but for a different stand. The guy managed it and we shall all be sitting together! They are also going to say happy birthday in an announcement at half time and put it in the match day program.
6) Went to Waitrose for a cup of tea.
7) Went to work which went pretty well.
8) Came back to see smaller son sitting on the sofa with the cat draped round his neck!
9) Have sat under the cat since 8.30, watching television. She has drunk a bit.
This is the photo smaller son sent me while I was at work:

Good morning. Snow !! Lots on cars and bushes but fortunately none on the roads. Woodhead and Snake Pass are closed but don't need to go to Lancashire today anyway! In fact, not going anywhere I think.
Since we last met.....
Nothing much really which is why I've been AWOL. Housework and garden tidying mostly.
Made a chocolate cake for DH birthday. First time the oven has been switched on since I don't know when! Made a dozen buns as well and froze those.
Met DD and SiL for birthday breakfast. I had pancakes with fruit and honey. Mmmm. Don't know how they made pancakes egg-free.But they were delicious.
Tea at DS. DDiL and DGD were in Leeds at a gig so just DS and the other two DGchildren. Lovely afternoon. Left them the rest of the cake to save ourselves from ourselves.
DH started immunotherapy yesterday. Hopefully the last round. So today will be chilling out. Could build a snowman I suppose. But probably not😂
Happy ❄ day everyone

Aww, cat looks very snuggly.
For yesterday,
Into horsey town for a food shop, not much in the way of yellow stickers but I did pick up some casserole beef as I have a hankering for stew & dumplings.
Tackled Mount Ironmore, good thing about winter is that jumpers don’t need ironing like cotton & linen.
Long chat with my bf.
Bit of work with equine pal and then snuggled her in for the night.
Macaroni cheese for tea then quiz night.6 -
Hello, just watching the moonrise!Yesterday was very cold as was today. Was out early with doggy both mornings.
Beautiful sunrise yesterday and this morning there was a huge moon halo…bigger than anything I’d ever seen before.
Yesterday I was over at house of doom to let a chap in…he was an hour and a half late! Grrr!Mobile library yesterday…that was so cozy and warm! Got a wee free book for Scottish Book Week.
DD2 came to collect her doggie and had a sausage sandwich for tea.Today I cleaned bathrooms. Got a box emptied in the garage…found scarves and hats but not the gloves I was hoping to find! The thing is the boxes were all marked with where they were going to be stored in new house. So it didn’t necessarily say ‘hall cupboard’ as there wasn’t one and probably said top landing! ( if in doubt it was to go to the huge top landing!) and when I packed them away in May I wasn’t worried about where I put them! Found bowls that I had wondered where they were ( and why they weren’t in a box named kitchen!) and also found some wax melts that I’d wondered where they were!
Went to new kitchen design place with DD2.Then we went for lunch so didn’t need dinner.Chat with friend this morning and sister too.Got another job booked in.8
