So sorry to read of your Mum's passing Skint, thoughts are with you m'dear.
Bless you for posting PK, time to rest up a tad now?
Thursday pleasures,
Tried a different Sainsbobs as had vouchers, was told couldn't process Nectar points, politely but firmly said yes I could and they were!
Above shop cost us £16.23 :money:
Had just got to the stables and the heavens opened, having forgotten my waterproof trousers the plans for walk around the fields scuppered so nothing to do but cuddles with girlie and watch the rain come down.
Meal out with pal, lots of laughs, good food and might have had some wine too, what's not to like.
First evening we had been out and left Tilly on her own, all was well when we got home.0 -
Skint, I am so sorry.
You will go through so many emotions and be stronger than you think possible.0 -
5 back inn the mill after my norff trip. Mill Owner nabbed me inn the corner of the boiler room about my trip. Tea cakes are being served in the tea room.
4 This is what happens if you know what you’re doing, and keep calm. Vision!
3 Now it is time for BoP to have his lunch box opened again, for the last time this weak! Cakes of Jaffa today as offer is inn BoP’s favour, not the emporium! Other delights are also included. Proper foods again and again! And that is how BoP is too good up norff as well!
2 Night is going to be a wobbleade session. I know not where, but possible inn town on the Big Train from Warster!
In everything you do, take five …0 -

1. The 5 hour drive up north passed uneventfully on Tuesday
2 Thankfully the holiday company have been fab and got dad home very quickly but we are still waiting for information why, paperwork and mum to be flown home. Can't organise funeral yet as we don't know when
3 the support of friends and family
4 the help from many organisations making it easy to inform them
5 your posts keepin me going through the long sleepless nights
Oh No!!Such a devastating shock for you all. There are no words but I totally feel for you. wishing you strength and light...
Pleasures for yesterday
1. Trip to london. Good walks to station, and through Regent's park
2. Good supervision. One supervisor has had to give me up due to her own ill health, but i have two in her place. I met one today and she is excellent :T
3. Good meeting with now ex-supervisor. She said she is still there for me and said VERY nice things about my work. I have undergone a bit of a paradigm shift in that i have now realised the value of what I am doing, particularly in light of recent #timesup and #metoo developments. Serendipity at its finest - it could have some far reaching consequences if i do it right.
4. OH picked me up from the station - 3 miles walking was enough
5. OUt with primary school mums for a meal. Always good to catch up
Have a lovely day all and, Skint, don't forget to take care of you too. xxI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
A rather odd day, I feel a bit stop the world I want to get off and contemplate yesterday, but life plunders on.
1 We delivered a sold bay item as it was too big for courier.
2 It was very close to an outlet centre we pondered into for a change of scenery, but the wallet stayed firmly shut, DH tried very hard to cheer me and also treated me to lunch.
3 I’ve started trying to dig a bit of the house back, clearing and cleaning some surfaces and tidying away the towels that were drying a fortnight ago which are now cardboard!
4 I got off my bVm, and freezer meal planned, and used some of the fresh veg from the wake, freezer chicken and pasta to create the healthiest meal this week. We have the last of the leftover fresh fruit platter for dessert, it came with the most amazing caramel dip to err enhance the healthiness!
5 I have a lot of police paperwork to tackle to list out what was taken from the burglary, and the Insurance loss adjusters are also due so things to concentrate on.0 -
So sorry for your loss SyA

1. Visit to cs - of all varying items I delivered, Natalie was most pleased with the various Notebooks & envelopes as it meant she didn’t have to buy them. Shorter visit than usual but given a peppermint tea to send me on my way:)
2. Long walk (for me) to deliver decluttered dressings to Mudchute Farm:A I walked fast enough to keep warm as it was dry but very chilly.
3. The huge hug from DH when I got home:happyhear
4. Corned beef & cheesey beans on toast - yummy
5. Focaccia & choc chip biccies baked for tomorrow’s lunch at uncle’s house.
Have a good night one & all.

Hugs to everyone that needs them.
1. Had a chat with two of my neighbours. One of whom I hadn't seen in a while. During the winter there are some people I rarely see with the short days.
2. Time spent in the garden . I have cleared some more of the garden and have straightened out a birder.
3. Tidied and sorted out the cupboard under the stairs. I now know what's in there. I then ebayed some items that I had stored in there prior to listing them a few months ago.
4. Some biscuits found for Christmas. Still in date and one was enjoyed with a cup of coffee.
5. DS2 out so had fish. I enjoyed it and then had a glass of wine while watching rugby. Not the score i wanted.0
