Tuesday pleasures,
Light early as clear day, sunshine nearly all day, very welcome.
Whizzed through housework to spend time outside in the garden.
Over to see horsey girlie, spent an hour grooming and pampering her, she looked stunning but I was a mess, covered in dust and hair :rotfl:
A bit of this , bit of that tea and all from the cupboards :money:

Mrpiano's ex has sent the rest of his stuff up to Dundee. guess whose house it's all now in omg. my kitchen has disappeared! and the car has a flat from where dd2 was got by a pothole giving a friend a lift home. so now for happier things for yesterday:
1) icy wind, so first pleasure is my windproof coat
2) left over haggis for lunch with the end of the christmas red cabbage yum
3) mrpiano picked me up from work - it was sleeting by then
4) then he cooked yummy pork mince and couscous

aw poor mhags. i am here again to make a terrible admission. I am in charge of the tea club (which covers any hot comestible) at work. We have a good selection of teas, but the decaf ground coffee was hanging fire cos the person who drank it has left. so i put the small amount into the caf ground coffee container and gave it a good stir. On a Likert of 1 - 5 (1 not at all, 5 very) how bad was that? see if anyone notices tee heeMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Thinking of you for tomorrow, PK, and hoping it all goes smoothly.
Pleasures for today - a difficult day due to 2 very stroppy teenagers.
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) A nice, bright day again.
3) Collected bigger son from college then we went with smaller son to see my sister's new house! They got the keys at 1pm today. We were supposed to help clean ready for the painters but we had to go home due to bigger son's rudeness and walking off and hiding. :-/
4) Tasty burritos for tea. I've learned how to do them properly, finished in the oven and served wrapped in foil.
5) Super moon visible from here but not looking particularly large to me!0 -

Took nearly 3wks for & last year, Frith>mhags, with no apology, no explanation, no contact at all from mse, despite repeat contact from &.

1. All the moons on show, as were near full and blue and sparkly versions last night. Spectacular...and freezing.
2. ....against which, since reinhabiting of &squat hier soir, & has had heating on fulltime and it is lovely. hwb waiting au lit as we speak.
3. Over 2hrs needed to decant MOST of Meriva. Mostly in kitchen, with much further steady re-wrap, judicious tarting or leaving dans l'!tat decisions, some strong cleaning, masses of research - all necessary and begun for next week Spits prep. There's pleasure in looking at things all anew, not feeling[so far] 'uh-oh, not sure that one's a runner'....
Still in Meriva is a very rustic squared off tree trunk+legs>table, table top depth 20cms!!! It's quite a thing, but too heavy for & to manoeuvre. Cogolin vendor put it in Meriva and back in Collobrières quincaillerie, & bought 4 metres of herculean strength viticulture stretchy binding to hold it against front passenger seat. Wonder how it'll get into market proper? asks helpless little old &lady, still with eyelashes to unfeministly flutter. On verra. Just ordered 2 necessary inkwell inners, here:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Inkwell-insert-Porcelain-inkpot-inkwell/dp/B019LBVQ74 - one 'c'. one 'i'.
4. Lovely thick haddock loin from emporium fish counter, much rtc last piece - 93p, consumed with broccoli, butter, lemon. 'Licious.. Cuppy of &'s black green tea waiting. Prob. needs another whizzbang fire-up.
5. All ready for Grayson Perry tomorrow,

- via cheapy cheap coach demain. Thought late bkg this a.m. would mean price higher than petrol and driving, but not even half, so pleased. Can relax and look about and enjoy.

Something else, more of the extraordinary re-contact referred to, posts passim - but no postage on this one[inadvertent or 'removed'] meant late haul into town of gown distribution centre. Lainey, hadn't a clue where, then realised I was passing Cheffins, of past auctions known. Haven't been there for yonks. Paid the missing £2 when seeing hand-written envelope.
We're all close with you tonight pk. Hugs and warmth and this special moon night, rising bright and very definitely for your DF.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

And for today..
1) didnt slip on the black ice
2) very nice storecupboard lunch (wont say what cos bop wouldnt approve - no snorkers!
3) over 200 postgrads in the Union for a get together staff also invited. Colleague nd I stayed for one prosecco
4) left overs and rejects ( dd1s courgette and aubergine slices in oil) made very tasty supper with enough for lunch
5) Dundee uni boat club annual ceilidh at the invercarse, we were the band. Nearly 150, absolutely fab. Shame its a school night! Brilliant dashing white sargents, vibrant virgini reel, the noisiest gay gordons, a rather raggedy circasian circle ( mainly I think cos the circle was just too crowded) and of course the wild orkadian strip the willow at the end. Still buzzing
