Oooft just caught up with everything..

Pleasures recently

Lots of driving to and fro ICT - enjoyed them but need a rest now.  
Hedgelaying - such fun and the weather was kind
the panto in the adjacent town.  i thought i was all panto'd out for ever.  Seems not
a walk in the park with a friend
more painting of ICT spare room (to be continued shortly)
work was worked.

Hello! I may just have spilled half a tin of paint! Waaaah! Luckily able to scoop it up on the old towel I was using ( just a splodge on the floor) but what a waste of paint! Waaah! 

Anyway I’ve done with painting for today. 

Was up early with doggy then we both had a further snooze! 

Went as far as supermarket. Met three sets of folk I knew so had big chats with all of them! 

Home and started painting the banister and spindles of the staircase. Then started all over again for a second coat! 

Had sausages and mashed potato and carrots and broccoli for tea. All RTC.

That's exciting news about the interview, PK. 

Pleasures for today (Tuesday)

1) Not a bad sleep.

2) Tidied up a bit.

3) Went to Croome Court (NT). An interesting exhibition about Ted Deerhurst, Viscount and surfer. Walked a couple of miles round the grounds.

4) Went to Waitrose on the way home for a pot of tea.

5) The man who said he would leave me alone and wished me a good life has sent wheedling messages. I have gone from being upset to annoyed. I am rarely annoyed but I am bloody annoyed. 

6) I made a shepherds pie for tea, which was very nice. 

7) I have finished series 2 of Happy Valley.

1 Happy Valley didn’t really appeal but I’m going to give it a try with all of the things I’ve seen about it.

2 I’ve put in a Tesco delivery for tomorrow.

3 No prep today.

4 It was still daylight at just gone 5.

5 I found a bit of cake in the freezer, it's not there now.

Pleasures for today

1. doggie walk - very misty but beautiful too.
2. Had car cleaned not very mse but they did a good job, next step to advertise said car for sale.
3. Replacement battery bought for said car - key fob, good old you tube to thank for telling me how to replace it.
4. Claim completed for Ds2 for Universal Credit as he’s classed as self employed and no money coming in.
5. Tea was chicken & chorizo stew, sweat potato mash - both via the olio app and petit pois from the freezer - very tasty.

For yesterday,

The dawn chorus is noticeably picking up again, nice to hear first thing.

A heavy frost, all white and crispy.

A long chat with my bf.

Time spent with my horse and remembering not to wear my fleece jacket as she’s starting to shed her winter coat, it sticks!

Tasty tea, meatballs in a chuck in any veg lying around tomato sauce, couple of squares of dark chocolate for afters.
