Broomstick I checked the Scottish version they are now about 10 cheaper and with 15 pounds back for d debit it evens out, I know it used to be half price or so but I take it they cottoned on.
Frith, I had to look up Castlemorton, the smaller festivals sounded fun.
Yesterday
1 Spent literally all-day gardening, safe to say I’m aching a tad now.
2 Gammon for tea and leftover pineapple for dessert.
3 Sat in the garden, reading
Today
1 An unplanned oversleep, as I still get up every 2 hours to feed the recovering ferret throu the night, he’s still with us and plodding around able to walk again and wanders around the garden so still enjoying life, but he has no want to actually find food and eat anymore. We are hoping he’s fed up and it will pass as it’s a lot to recover from, he was at deaths door.
2 Amazon delivered a great pair of tie dye keen sandals at a third of the normal price, they are colourful and wonderful.
3 The house is half-heartedly cleaned up, done as I had to, I just didn’t feel like it.
4 Dinner is cawli/broccoli cheese with a chicken fillet.
5 Manky bananas, split to the middle and popped in some matchmaker chocolate, wrapped in foil and warmed in the oven to mulch and tastes much more lovely than it sounds

I’ll give you ‘non food’ pirate Pete! Grrrr! Just had more of them for my tea! Love sprouts 🥰
So my voice which was fading fast yesterday had all but gone this morning. It’s been the most ridiculous day of trying to speak / squeak!Anyway…rubbish night. Though testing negative for covid though others amongst me have had it. Struggle to get up and at ‘em this morning. Stayed in bed as late as I possibly could then went to work.Work was madly busy then quiet. So got lots of prep done in the quiet time. Good company though I was the quietest I’ve ever been 😆
Tips…meh but more than I had when I came in.It’s been a day of either fabulously sunny or woah look at that rain! And windy. Drove home with sunglasses on and was just in when whoosh down came the rain.DD2 was the most chirpy she’s been in days and seemingly had days worth of stuff to tell me…she’s been in her room ill but as I don’t have much voice she used all the words she’d been storing up!Had a leftover baked potato with some leftover salad from work. And then some veggie sausages and sprouts, real food !Now need to take down old blinds as I have new blinds being fitted tomorrow. Some of the blinds have been here since we moved in 16 years ago! The rest were a charity shop find! My very first time of having new blinds. Not just new to me!12 -
Evening folks, what a lovely sunny day.
Pleasures.
1. Productive day at the office…To do list is done!
2. Garlic and crushed chilli’s seems to have stopped the rats with tails squirrels digging up the beans.
3. Lovely early evening walk in the local park with the dogs.
4. Gas and Electric statement, still saying I’m paying to much and to reduce DD by £22, still leaving it until we see what autumn brings.
5. DD2 and DD3, staying over this weekend, looking forward to seeing them, rather than a FaceTime catchup.Well Behaved women seldom make history

1. Big food hub collection ex Trumpy Waitrose yesterday. Took quite a while. Looks much less than it was - 1½cages. Messy offloading single-handed with several collapse-y cartons, done eventually.
2. Emptied car completely at rugby club. Found one looked-for thing, one to go. Wind-down time, with off-season Touch&Tag games on. Great fun, happy chats and laughter at Peacock HQ.🦚🏉
3. Encouraging replies re: good footfall+green display space for friend's son. He builds wonderful bowtop wagons and much else, stunning work. Shy is L, but tree-houses, rustic gates, tables, fencing, classic barge innards, beams et al, flow from his brain and brilliant woodworking hands.
4. &'s leaping garlic!😃
5. Some ££s, owed to &, now in account. Overdue, but there DG.👏

Another No Mow May day, but only because of overnight and sporadic showers since - and re-rinsed laundry.....🙄
Off to bring it in now.🧺🙂

Pleasures for today (Tuesday). Rather an easy day!
Cannot format pics properly so this will have to go in randomly...
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Smaller son went to college until lunchtime and did another mock GCSE. He got 50%, which we presume would get him a level 4.
3) I went into Floody City for the charity shops, and bought a vest top which turns out to be a posh make. Had a pot of tea in Waitrose then went to the big garden centre to scratch a pig and look at the plants for the front little flower bed (just a strip, between my house and the pavement). Too expensive.
4) Handed in a completed mock paper at the college office and was handed in return the Report That No one Could Download.
5) Popped out after lunch to B and Q and bought a lupin, some cheap aquilegias and a red thing that I've forgotten the name of.
6) Cut all the daffodil and tulip leaves off in the front garden and realised the soil was dry as a bone. Made 20 trips round with the watering can. Cut things back, had a weed and put the new plants in. Nasturtiums have self seeded all over the place. Picture to follow, also shows how blue the new paint is!
7) BSD continues. Meatballs with hm sauce for tea. Some left for tomorrow that can go with some salad in a pitta bread.
8) Looking forward to the new series of DIY SOS starting.

1. Still in positive mood at work. Hopefully it will last. I am concentrating on the part of the job I like and not the people I work with.
2. Messages with both sons about wordle.
3. DH away on conference and left work early so drive himself to station rather than me having to rush home from work to drive him.
4. Quiet evening reading my book and watching tv.10 -
For yesterday,
Errand day so horse chaff, dog and bird food plus a visit to the butchers counter at farm shop, all stocked up.
LO salmon in a salad for lunch.
A buzzard sitting on a fence post, impressive bird.
Afternoon walk for small dog, popped her into the car and took her to the back of the stud land, lots of new smells and she met three other spaniels.
Found a place in Gloucestershire that do a residential course on driving / working Shire horses, would love to do that.11 -

Mhags / Admiral - definite 'non-food' served with RICE 🤢🤣 They can be tolerated in small quantities with a roast dinner, that's it.
seem to have got behind again.
Sunday
1. A walk in the park with former colleague, recently widowed. She's getting on OK, a few understandably teary moments
2. Despite neither of us realising the park was hosting a Race For Life we were only caught in traffic for 15 mins
3. warm sunshine
4. Saw my boy before and after work - usually it's one or the other
5. a new to me series to watch "Hidden Assets" on Iplayer
Monday
1. A worky morning - still getting through it
2. Downton at the pictures - all rather lovely
3. Washing dried on the line
4. made gnocchi and aubergine bake. The pleasure was being able to remove the gnocchi - it was bleurgghhh
5. More series and picked up my knitting again.
Yesterday
1. got my bits waxed and tinted as appropriate
2. another walk in the park with a different former colleague - and a picnic
3. dinner with my girl (who is non-binary but i'm not sure how to say that ' my person' doesn't seem right)
4. Mama Mia at the theatre.
5. no traffic issues getting back and seeing my boy after work.
Have a good rest of the day.
I wanna be in the room where it happens10 -
Just had an omelette for my tea. No sprouts to be seen.Rubbish sleep. So got up early. Pottered around. Cleaned bathroom and hoovered bedroom. Then hoovered downstairs…I must have had an inkling!Friend texted to ask was I in she had a wee gift for me. I have a lurgy said I but it’s not covid! So she popped in for 5 minutes which was a very long five minutes but nice to catch up.
Chap came to fit new blinds.Dropped DD2 off at GP, then went to big supermarket. Got some RTC flowers and plants. Then walked over to charity shop and got 4 new to me tops/ tee shirts.Home and hello doggy. A very quiet hello as my voice is almost non existent. It finally stopped raining torrentially and brightened up into a nice late afternoon. Hung out my washing about 3.30 pm and have just brought it in, only the jeans are a bit damp. Everything else is dry…that’ll be the blooming strong wind! Then had to pick up DD2 at work, cursing the amount of traffic at that time of day!12
