Just been a quick doggy walk…long enough to do business then back in. Some would rather sniff than do their business! Stars in the sky!Up early and out with dog. Beautiful sunrise.Another nice day but a coolish wind.Picked up mum and we went out for lunch. ‘Where are we going after this? ‘ …er, home!Picked up DD2 from work and went to big supermarket. Dropped some cash…although at that point I didn’t realise.Home. Sat out for a wee bit in the garden. Put patio cleaner on patio. Hmmmm! The jury is out on that brand! Shall see what tomorrow brings!Realised I didn’t have the cash I should have. Queued for an age on the phone and finally got through to supermarket and yes money had been handed in. I was able to say the time and till number from my receipt. So had to go all the way back down the other side of town but very grateful that it had been handed in.Have a mountain of 5p parsnips to chop tomorrow! Got 7 bags.Didn’t need tea as had big lunch.11

Good morning. Yet another lovely day dawning.a
S Sue - thinking of you x
Spent Tuesday and Wednesday waiting in for a parcel to be delivered so took advantage of the bright breezy weather and washed throws and winter coats.
Parcel eventually arrived late Wednesday so yesterday we came to the caravan.
Good to be back. Had a lovely walk by the sea. Cool east wind so was rather bracing but certainly blew away cobwebs.
Today will be more of the same. Think we'll walk along the cliff tops. Will be windier still but we should see puffins, and maybe the elusive dolphins.x
Happy windy day everyone

For yesterday,
Another lovely spring day, this week has been much better than forecasted.
Into horsey town for supplies, saw JF riding out with his string again.
Over to see my own horse, bit of work in the school, just lots of bending and stretching.
My friend came over in the afternoon with her mobile dog grooming parlour, small dog disappeared into it and like Mr Benn came out just over an hour later looking like a different spaniel.
Tea was prawn linguine, was a tad heavy on the chilli so hot hot but tasty all the same.11 -

yesterday was a frustrating day, still getting over my non-covid cold, still not making much of a dent on emails, and major mess-ups with meeting links being set up (not me but impacting me, indicative i think of how bloomin' busy and exhausted everyone in Higher Ed now is!). So now for 5 before I dive into another day
1) Checking through a report before signing off 'Module evaluation from students had been perineal' think they meant perennial. I hope they meant perennial!
2) the sun was shining and i got to sit out for my lunch - lovely carrot and ginger soup out the freezer and the last of the goats cheese with the last of the cranberry on toast
3) electrician came round - I am now legal with my fire alarms and heat alarm - goodness they are loud!
4) walked the boys up to mum's for a cuppa - we watched Portillo's Sicily and remembered our own holiday back there in 2013
5) gbf phoned later - we now have our week in Germany all booked (Oberammergau postponed from 2020, booked some time ago, needed to decide on the rest of our week so are staying 4 nights in Munich near the station then 2 in Oberammergau then back to Munich for the last night) we also have the masked ball booked at Munich's opera house.

DD soooo jealous of your trip to Oberammergau. Was conned on a school trip back in the 70s and we zoomed through on the coach. Ended up just outside Innsbruck for the rest of the holiday. As a 'youngish' teen I was immensely disappointed especially as some cousins had been to the performance and raved about the experience.
Its a long time ago now but still rankles a bit. Enjoy it and let us all know about it in due course11
