When we were in NY an Irish bar out on the rugby for us.
1. Another hot sunny day. It does make my back better too.
2. Drinking coffee looking over a harbour and one or two people swimming.
3. Went round a castle - hadn't been in in years but stunning views of the sea, town and mountains.
4. Watched rugby - unfortunately though a win not by enough. Lots of messages throughout with both sons, who were watching at the stadium, and my Dad.
5. Had mussels for tea.
6. Walked round the harbour area, another harbour, after and it was still warm.11 -
Thanks Happycas ,think the main reason is that we are rapidly approaching the one year anniversary and it’s hard ,Anyway
1 DS and his eldest ( my DGS 2) came yesterday ,lovely to see them and I cooked a proper lunch
2 lots of niggling jobs done
3 DGS ( age 15 ) as tall as his Dad and with a Frank Zappa moustache!
4 lovely sunny day
5 Garden full of forget-me-knots ,it was this time last year too
Happy Easter to you all ( sounds like the Queen!)12 -
Thinking of you SSue those anniversaries are so difficult x
For yesterday,
Warm croissants and coffee for breakfast.
Over to see equine girlie, swapped over my storage box for a bigger one, all those Justin bits and pieces of tack sorted through but nothing disposed of, equestrians are notable magpies.
Up to the paddocks, bag with an apple and carrots that the beautiful grey one shared with her friends who were all looking over their gates expectantly. Played a brief game of tag with pony then she got back down to the serious task of grazing while her Mum sat on the grass and daydreamed, with the occasional check by horse that her human was still alive.
Home and both hollowlegged stepsons arrived, sat in the warm sunshine and had a good catch up, bread, cheese and olives consumed.
Footie, eldest DSS enjoyed his team win in the cup and then we listened to Utd beat the league leaders away from home, it was being shown on tv and we were going to treat ourselves to daily pass but broadband problems put pay to that.
Last wander around the garden with small dog, big old full moon and the bats were out.12 -
