PLeasures recently
1. came to Wales a day early due to OH testing positive. I was negative and so far have remained so. I'm staying put for a week or so.
2. a very dark bike ride back from next door village - no moon or stars, no street lights and hardly any battery in my bike light.
3. A meal in the pub and then one with friends the next day.
4. Started work on the decorating marathon. the whole house needs doing so i'm starting at the top and working down. Top room is a loft conversion and gets more bizarre the more i uncover.. It's going to take a while. At the moment i'm still stripping..
5. podcasts on BBC sounds to keep me company
6. 7 - 8 hours sleep a night.
Have a nice evening all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens13 -

Wet and windy doggy walks. Just please hurry up and do your business…
An okay day at work. I like my Monday colleagues. Okay tips. Salad for lunch and a bit of leftover cheesecake ( though not the base that makes it cake😆😆) I’m at the struggling stage of lent! Hey I had cheese that’s right!Nice cuddles with my doggy when I got home. Wee, dinner, cuddle. That’s his Monday afternoon order.13 -

Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Don't feel too bad now, just out of breath when walking upstairs. Smaller son is also getting better and just has cold symptoms. Hope your OH goes on OK, VJsmum.
3) Hens OK.
4) Sainsburys order appeared at 11am, left on the doorstep!
5) Tasty tea followed by creme brulees (my favourite pudding).
6) Watching the June Brown interview. She was the only person (apart from me, a bit) to look like my grandma, so we would always mention that when EastEnders was on.
7) Have ordered a new (to me, refurbished) phone as mine is years old and was bigger son's before mine. I've got fed up of having to sit holding the cable in to make it charge. A heron came down in the garden earlier and I couldn't take a photo as the phone is always flat. Went through MSE pages to get a good deal.12 -
Vjsmum, Hope your OH has mild symptoms and is better soon. I don't think I could ever manage to decorate a whole house when living in it as well, thou I have started a slight addiction to farrow and ball pure white and all the skirting and doorframes here are going to be done and are in desperate need of being done.
Thanks for Dh’s well wishes I’ve passed them on, the fever is back.
1 The smell of tomatoes and apples dehydrating a natural air freshener.
2 Hoovered the whole house.
3 Potted on some sunflowers, but I don’t hold much hope as they have grown too fast, as opposed to anything else here that just doesn’t.
4 At the risk of being repetitive the birds are a definite pleasure.

Hope all the germ infested folks are feeling better x
1. Stew in haybox overnight.
2. Beloved fixed the log burner with many rude words.
3. New canning lids....ooooh shiny.
4. Tomato plants are now living in the toilet so they dont get frosty so whenever I go in there I say hello to them. Peppers are just coming through and my cucumber plants look great
5. Sorted out the home canned shelves and gave one shelf some strengthening as I had too much weight on it. Still love my shelves!2013 NSD 100. Good morning. Very grey!
PK - Oh no. I hope DH temp stabilises soon. He must feel miserable.
Supermarket yesterday. DH getting much better at seeing the need for sticking to the list. Helps to keep the bill smaller.
Rang my friend. She's really struggling with whether or not to go in a nursing home.. She knows she needs to really but is reluctant to give up her independence. I let her talk it through for ages but I do feel for her. Such a difficult decision.
Went with DD to local bar for a spring wreath making workshop. Such fun!. They were 'faux' flowers ( wouldn't be my choice but I suppose real spring flowers wouldn't be robust enough) so we stuck them on with Gorilla glue. That is now in the list of Evil Things To Be Avoided. I definitely will never take up glue sniffing and I still have crispy fingers!. But my white and yellow wreath is lovely
Happy Tuesday everyone

For yesterday,
Horsey town for a shop, picked up a few rtc bargains for the freezer and my preferred, un-perfumed body lotion was on special offer so have stashed a couple away.
Completed a flurry of surveys in between household chores.
Afternoon didn’t pan out as expected, had just finished lunch when the oh so familiar wriggly worms of pre-migraine started to float across vision so took myself off to bed, woke up 3 hours later but at least no headache!
A very restorative cup of tea.
Uni Challenge final and I got a couple of questions right so head not completely broken ☺️11
