Good morning. It's snowing!! Didn't expect that.
LoveFS - aah, the unconditional love of a small grandchild. Priceless!
Came home yesterday in very heavy rain. Started laundry!
We really must eat up some things from the freezer. It seems every time I take something out, e.g. mince, I put twice as much back, e.g.4 portions of chilli !
Ditto must sort out little bedroom. It's become a dumping ground for all sorts of random things. Feel as if I'm making new year resolutions at the end of March. But I guess spring is a new year.
DS came last night with his mother's day gift of hyacinths and chocolates. How well he knows me! Lovely to have a chat
Whilst I've been typing, the sun's come out and the snow's gone
Happy 🌞day everyone12 -
Porage, check the label! Great Scotts?
It's not snowing here! End of!

Ducks!
Gammon with bean mash! Good Food! And now, this!
Don't often do it now, but checked the local farcebuck community group to check whether the pavements have been cleared and the buses are running! Both same as usual! Avoid! Most of it is false, but they are all out about taking the meter reading, but also talking about the non-delivery of the pizza last night! Who orders cheese on toast to be delivered and complains about the electric bill!
Sore ted out the visa card for the tour, coming soon! The Albatross is impressed that I can use the web and not be scammed! See above!
Watched the engerland ladies in the cricket. Very good, now to give the Aussies watt four? Hit them foir six!

Frith, Good luck with the northern lights, it sounds amazing.
My brother dropped a note over they all have covid, they are doing okayish, but my nephew isn’t, they are keeping a close eye.
1 Our sofa is 21 years old we bought it new and quite frankly expected it too last, it’s been repaired by DH twice, over 3 years ago we went sofa shopping and disliked them all. I did some research last week, narrowed it to 3 possibles online, went into the shop yesterday, and all sorted and ordered, a 3 month wait. We live in an area where they seem to change their sofas once a year before Christmas. I’m very shocked how much it looks like people spend.
2 We went to the shops to re stock and it seemed to be a theme, we were continually very shocked at the price increases. We did manage to pick up a few reductions.
3 Costco pizza was dinner.
4 Spring daffs and tulips in the garden and wherever I look there are bumbles in them.
For today
1 Some fresh bread and cheese with salad was lunch and so lovely to have fresh bits in.
2 I made a banana and date only naturally occurring sugars from the fruit, a first attempt.
3 Kit, - Kat’s twin brother, they were incredibly closely bonded, he’s not doing so well so we have been keeping him with us all the time now and he seems to be coping a bit better having spent the day as my shadow helping with everything.
4 Sliced up apples, grapes, and tomatoes into the dehydrator rather than lose them.
5 My first time trying to properly garden and the sunflower seeds seem to be happy and off they are taller than their lid now, I need to pot them up next and then plant my next seeds, on the window in the kitchen we have salad leaves and cress growing.

1. Found a pretty note book I had forgotten I owned!
2. Fire lit and its 20° in the kitchen, it was 9° in there this morning.
3. TV off and watched my favourite economist instead. That sounds so sad but understanding how everything is linked fascinates me.
4. Talked to my 2 best friends. Both moaning as usual. Good job I love them.
5. The prospect of semolina pudding in my future. Probably with a dod of cheap jam. Found a huge bag of it on special.2013 NSD 100. CC2014CC- £31.50/£1352014 NSD 86 so far - May 20/212014 G/C spend £741.55 so far May £107.99/£91Debt Free - 30.05.13 Emergency tin - £1000June 23 - 9NSD11 -
Good morning! I’d fallen asleep before posting last night! Daylight is just starting to peek through.
Yesterday was up early. Normal early not silly early! Was a bright day though a very chilly one. Snow flurries throughout the day. Though it never came to much.Picked up mum and went to a garden centre where we met my niece and great nephew. Then big supermarket other side of town where mum got some new clothes. Dropped her home.I’d popped into nearby charity shop and got another 4 books for £1.00 and a lovely vintage dining set of 2 tureens, 3 platters and a gravy jug. Love them. Washed them all when I came up, googled their provenance and they would have been made pre 1936 when the pottery shut down so I love that they are certainly vintage and have visions of them being brought out at christmases for many years! ( more likely languished at the bottom of someone’s cupboard for years!) but I like them and shall use them for Tuesday tea! Also got a tee shirt which inspired me to sort out my wardrobe and I have a charity bag filled that I’ll try and remember to drop off this weekend. Stuff I was holding on to just in case but which I’ve not worn in either such a long time or never!Started reading new book.
Made pasta using up cream and ham and veggies.Had already had a bit of cake in the morning ( oops) and had a piece of birthday cake , warmed up with the last dribble of cream. And it was very nice too. My April challenge is no sugar or crisps ! Jings!Popped up to a friend ( bizarrely snowing whilst so, so sunny) and handed in two books for her to read and pass on. Had a quick chatter for 10 minutes.Phone chat with other friend. Then bed! And slept rather well! For a change!13 -
For yesterday,
Snow flurries on and off all day, small dog had a duvet day.
Trip into horsey town for a few provisions and a visit to the bank for some change, I like to keep a stash in the car for roadside stalls.
Poor Capt S had to make a couple of building site visits and came home freezing so made him a big mug of a well known beefy drink.
Afternoon visit to see niece and great nephew, he’s such a happy little chap and close to taking first steps now, also saw brother, nephew and SIL so a real catch up.
Tasty tea, pepper and chorizo frittata with salad.10 -
1. Watched snow from inside. Patients were very excited it was snowing. They were all 5 and under.
2. Day went well at work.
3. Flowers still looking good.
4. Chat with a friend.
5. Finished my book

Egg Banjo! Squirty Food!
Sofa, that's only a bench with cushions!
Semolina Pud! Sago gone wrong?
Never not time for cake!
Chorizo. Frankfurter gone wrong! Now for the bits you don't read?
Watched another comic on the stream last night! Jim Gaffigan. Not suitable for Ms & as it will have her inn stitches. Cheese and fruit waters were taken!
Tuck the Albatross to her work this morning, no land speed record attempt today as we has another road with the JCB and temporary lights on it! If you need some traffic lights, we have far too many now!
Bin out at the Vets brakefest this day! See that the council are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard again! Typical jobsworths! In the same club as HR, Unsocial Workers and Educators! Usual rules!
Had snorkers and best back at the Vets brakefest and the world was righted! Tee was taken as well!
Went two the discount surplus store for replenishment of supplies. Strange that the wireless thing this morning was on about the boutique selling easter eggs over £10! Checked me shop again at the boutique, ours was £42.89 against a rip off £63.07! That is now about £2,000 a year! Avoid!
Got the things inn for Finger Kebabs this evening for supper. That is cherry plum tom, cheese and cocktail sausages on the cocktail stick! Very tasty. As usual, the chicken tikka is brewing inn its marinade on the side!
Now with me clear filter water watching the SA cricket! As it is FryDay, the crunchie is being scoffed as well!
